  1. A new pizza resto that opened up in the flatiron district. We had a large party of 16 and they were able to put us all together in 1 table. The ambiance is very nice, modern rustic and warm. The liquor, beer and wine bar is long so there is tons of room. They sell Italian goodies on one side of the wall.

We started with prosecco libations at the bar area while we waited for the rest of the party to show up. The staff was very accommodating and sat us when half of the party showed up.  We had cheese and meats to start with bread. The meat balls is a must order so delicious and juicy!  We ordered red wine $36 and it was quite wonderful – 3 bottles later.

I really enjoyed all the various pizzas. Since we had a large party, we were able to try all the different types. My favorite one was the salami since I love spicy hot and fresh. The staff was great and given the number of people we had at our party, they were on top of their game and very attentive. Give it a shot!

  2. I would give PN 5 stars for the pizza and about 2 1/2 stars for everything else. I'm feeling a bit generous today to I rounded up. I had an early reservation, 5:30 and don't show up early as they aren't ready to open the doors even 5 minutes before that, I had to grab a quick drink down the street at the Nomad bar. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about. It feels a bit fast foodish. The menu is small but that's fine, we came for the pizza and really that's all you should focus on. We ordered the octopus to start and it was a little fatty but serviceable. The red wines by the glass are nothing all that interesting, I had a taste of each and the one I chose, the Nero d'Avola I swear wasn't what was eventually served to me but I wasn't going to argue. The wine glasses smell a bit like soap so it was hard to get a good taste anyway. The service was good although don't try to ask for anything different as they are pretty vigilant on how you're supposed to eat your pizza, "no well done and don't add any hot pepper until you taste it". You might wonder why I'm giving them 4 stars then and the reason is, this is definitely one of the top 3 pizzas I've had in NYC yet. We ordered the truffle bianche pizza and it was amazing!! Black truffle puree, crsipy pancetta and mozzarella, phenomenal! I would come back for this pizza, or maybe I would just order it for delivery but it's definitely worth having again.

  3. A new interesting pizza place that needs more of these in the area

    Hypes:
    – customize your pizza. With a choice of various organic doughs, and then a choice of crust- you can't go wrong
    – The pizza is delicious – comes out fast, perfectly cooked, dry crust, flavorful sauce, seriously awesome.
    – We tried the truffle and the salamino. If you like anything truffle as I do, get this. Covered in proschuitto, truffle oil, and truffle bits, its bold and flavorful. The Salamino was also delicious – thin sliced, crispy, with a perfect balance of cheese and sauce
    – We also tried the gnocchi with pesto. The gnocchi is fresh, soft, and one of the better pastas I've had
    – nice ambiance, large space, plenty of seating available

    Gripes:
    – I think because they just opened they are still figuring out the ropes – as lack of high chairs – but then again –  this isn't the most kid friendly place and I don't think its meant to be – its better for a date night (dim lighting, loud music, sharp knives on the table) – better come here on a date night
    – The pasta came out much later than expected – we were basically done with our pizzas and meal when it came out – i'd knock off points for that.. but because it was so so good (I'm guessing Because they spent so much time on this perfect dish…) they redeemed themselves

  4. I'd walked in only 2 hours before to book reservations for 5 people. Everyone was very helpful and kind at this restaurant right from the very beginning. We live on the west coast, so I'm always desperately missing good pizza. Even amazing pizza Napoletana is a rarity out there.

On Friday night, it was easy to get a spot for a party of 5 right when I needed it. So I was happy about that!

Ambiance – absolutely beautiful. They follow through with their focus of creating the perfect pizza dough. The lighting is nice, the decor is beautiful. They've set a great mood in here to enjoy the delicious food.

Pizza – 5/5 without a doubt. Just absolutely delicious. We tried three different pies. The margherita, the salamino, and I can't remember the 3rd one. It's not listed on the online menu. Either way, I don't think you could go wrong. The dough was beautiful. Amazing sauce, quality ingredients.

Lamb burger – my mom had pizza for lunch, so she ordered this as her main course and LOVED it. We all took a little bite just to taste. It was delicious. Cooked well, seasoned well. Nice portion. Delicious sauce. Ah! So happy with this meal.

We had the crostini and the octopus for appetizers. I was not a fan of the octopus. I supposed I liked grilled better. This had little flavor and it was rather chewy. Not sure this is a preference thing or just that it wasn't great. I've had delicious greek grilled octopus in the past. Also, the portion is quite small for the price. Crostini was delicious! We fought over the last bites.

2 bottles of wine and an amazing meal with my family who I hadn't seen in almost a year. It was a perfect night. I am usually the designated restaurant picker and everyone was happy!

  5. Very cute new entry in the neighborhood.

Very tasty pizza and awesome nutella cheesecake, but they have more dishes to keep your taste buds happily engaged.

I love the fact that you can choose between different types of flour, all organic and not enriched.

Their antipasti are also delicious, with fresh ingredients coming directly from Italy.

Owner Giacomo is a gentleman, and works hard to make sure everybody is satisfied.

    Recommended.
