“I got everyone in my office hooked on it and their delivery capabilities are amazing.”

“They must either have so much service that they're food gets rotated quickly or they are very strict on the freshness of their food because it is always very fresh.”

“It was fine for a light meal, but if you're hungry the spaghettini with meat sauce is more filling.”

  1. Decent food. I was in town for a trade show and after 9 hours of standing all day at the show I wasn't interested in going out, so I stopped by here and got some take out food on the way back to the hotel… I had spaghetti and it was delicious! It didn't take too long to make and the sauce was very tasty.

  2. The most hilarious thing is that this is an Italian themed sandwich/soup/salad run mostly by Asians with Mexicans doing delivery and prep.

    But it works.

Chicken salad sandwich on wheat was pretty decent. Wasn't covered entirely in mayo, but wasn't dry either. Basic stuff.

Service is quick and the turnover rate of the salads and sandwich supplies seems good. Lots of foot traffic around lunchtime and they also deliver/cater.

They also sell gigantic cookies for $1.75. Didn't get a chance to try them, but I'd like return to try that and their coffee.

Note that sandwiches are $8.45 but come out over $9 with tax, but I'm putting it on my Midtown West Under $9 Yelp list anyway. They accept cards though.

  3. Review is for seamless – get the penne alla vodka!! Great portions (although it is $18) but it's so creamy and comes with a generous serving of chicken.

  4. Great little Italian place. What stood out for me was the mozzarella appetizer.  To me,  it was perfect with peppers instead of tomatoes. I had the lasagne,  which is the universal metric I judge Italian places by. It was excellent… Thin sections between noodles with a mild sauce and a slightly crusted cheese edge. Things that could have been better were the bread… I asked for white bread and they had it. Originally they started with a wheat type bread which seems atypical for Italian food. It wasn't bad, just different. Anyway,  let the rambling cease…. Great food,  good service,  very fair prices. Very quick too. Happy.

  5. A fantastic find for lunch, consistently great quality food!  I have been working down their list of sandwiches – $4.50 for a half sandwich, a whole sandwich for $8.45 stuffs me for the day.  My favorite is the Prosciutto, Mascarpone, Tomato & Arugula.  It is sweet from the prosciutto, creamy from the mascarpone cheese and peppery from the arugula – perfect!  I get it on the whole wheat Tuscan bread.

The pastas are also wonderful.  I tried the lunch special, which was spaghetti with tomato sauce.  All the pastas come with a complimentary slice of bread.  The pasta was cooked al dente and had fragrant slivers of fresh basil strewn on top.  It was fine for a light meal, but if you're hungry the spaghettini with meat sauce is more filling.  The sauce is flavorful, and just salty enough with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top.  The side garden salad I had with it was very fresh.

I noticed the price for the pasta lunch special is $11.95 plus tax, which is really not any cheaper than the regular price, they just throw in a can of soda or water.  To me it's not worth getting the lunch special, just order off the menu.

I have to say something about the ice tea – other places will also charge around $2.30 but give you mostly water.  Here for that price you get real home brewed strong tea with generous slices of lemon, and ice that keeps it cold for an hour.  Really worth the $2.30.  I am a tea lover.

You can count on always getting quality food here.

  6. Great little Italian place near my apartment. Good prices, fast service, and terrific taste for a fast casual kind of establishment. I had the linguine with clams for takeout and it was delicious – clams were fresher than some I've had at higher end restaurants. Boyfriend loved his chicken alfredo. Can't wait to come back and try more.

  7. I actually really liked the food here. I just happen to be walking by and this place didn't pop up on yelp for some reason, it was empty on a Sunday afternoon which was a bit odd but I decided to try it anyway. I got the prosciutto sandwich on whole wheat and all of the ingredients seemed pretty fresh. I think I would definitely stop by for another sandwich during lunch time.

  8. Pretty good food. I was healthy with what I ordered – I got bruschetta and a grilled chicken avocado sandwich. The bruschetta was phenomenal, one of the best bruschetta I've ever had. The avocado chicken sandwich was okay, nothing too special.

Their delivery time is pretty on par. I didn't think they would be able to deliver in 30 min, but they're quick! I think I'm going to give this place another shot, but try one of their pasta dishes, which I'm sure is what they're known for.
