I've never had any issues with this establishment's food however I do have an issue with the Indian lady that screwed up my order & had the nerve to have an attitude when I corrected her.
I walk in, order a #7 to go (which is the 5 Piece Tender Combo with a side & drink). I ask for Mardi Gras sauce for my #7. She only puts 1 sauce in my bag.
I said, "I have 5 Tenders. Why are you only giving me 1 sauce?!" She rolls her eyes & screws up her face. She proceeds to put 2 extra Tenders in my to-go box & said some slick sh*t to her coworker in her language. I could've & should've went off on her but I decided to be the bigger person & write a review about the dumb b*tch!
This location is obviously a very popular one by default and because of that I expect to wait a little bit longer. Lines can be long during rush hour but the staff is pretty good at making sure they move swiftly. There is adequate seating for those who want to dine in.
Never had an issue with the food. It's pretty standard. Food ordered is always of consistently satisfying quality. Most of the times my daughter will request some kind of chicken tender meal and I'll opt to just have a side of mash, fries or slaw. I'm not a fried chicken person.
On this my last visit I opted for the shrimp promo and again, no real complaints. Shrimp was tasty and not too heavily battered where I feel like I have to search for the shrimp. Meal was pretty filling to the point where I didn't complete it.
The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because there tends to be dirty tables and trays all over.
Out of all the fast food chicken places there is, Popeye's reigns supreme. The chicken is tasty with some zesty and savory choices for sauce. Maybe they take a little longer sometimes than my usual fast food waits but that means extra care is taken. I got the Cajun fish. The batter is nice and crispy. Nice biscuit going, red beans and rice. I just wish they had corn bread. But it's good.
