  1. Bland! We had dinner for 6 last night and I was definitely not impressed. I really miss Asian Palace as a sit-down place. A bunch of people recommended this place and I was sorely disappointed.

    I had the roast duck and it was incredibly bland. It was served with a plum sauce, not with a savory sauce. My step-mom ordered moo shoo pork and wasn't given her sauce. Dad ordered shrimp with lobster sauce, a standby for him, and it was ok but not great. My husband ordered eggplant in garlic, and he liked it, but it was loaded with msg. We're all feeling swollen and miserable today.

    They don't do pots of tea, we had to keep asking for things that are normally just provided in a Chinese restaurant. Meh.

    If this is what passes for Chinese in Bayonne I'll wait til I get to Manhattan.
