To think, Pressed Juicery is where that old churro cafe used to be, I'm pretty sure…
While running some errands on the U.E.S. on a Sunday, I came across Pressed. I'm always a tad wary of juice shops, because, sometimes, the prices can be egregious! (I was at a popular NYC juice chain this morning, balking at $9.15 bottles of juice…) At this location, the menu was concise, with "green" and "root" juices, along with some other singular options. I opted for the Greens 3 juice, which contains kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, and ginger. (Oh my!) Still, it packed quite a wonderful punch! At $6.50 a bottle…not too shabby, honestly. It's not an every day treat for me, but I would not feel bad swinging in here on occasion to treat myself to a bottle.
I joined up with their club, which means I gain points for each bottle I buy. One dollar equals one point, so a $6.50 bottle = 6.5 points. Once I get up to 75 points, I get a free bottle of juice, and 100 points brings more deals on juices and juice cleanse packages. Once again, it's a small and nice incentive.
It's nice to have a stand-alone location of this store in Manhattan, as I think most are located in Equinox locations, at least for now. I heard a location will be opening near Columbia University soon! Like I said, with juice bottles more reasonably priced than at other NYC juice chains, I'll be likely to stop in again.
She was so responsive, attentive and genuinely wanting to help my mother and I, during our time of trying to figure out wth we wanted to drink.
She recommended a few of her faves, offered samples before we purchased, finally we came to a decision and she was still concerned about our happiness and if she had given us great customer service. Ya damn right she did, she gave exceptional customer service and for that she needs to be manager or get a raise. She is the type of human more companies need- to represent the company well, because that's exactly what she did. I now think of Pressed Juicery every time I want a juice, because I know I'll get that perfect genuine service.
Erica made my crummy day into a brighter one.
Groovy job and continue to shine, trust me it's being noticed! 🙂
I came here because there was a facebook coupon for a free drink when they opened. I'm not one to spend a lot on juice but this juice was GOOD. I would go back if I had a juice craving. The staff was very helpful and let us try a few juices before deciding which one to get. All of the ones I tried were great and I felt super-healthy after.

Erica is awesome and should totally get a raise.
