  1. Lunch time which I needed air as Pret A Manger enable me a small bowl of seedless grapes at $2.99 and BBQ chips at $1.49.  I never like their stainless steel grate floor with lots of nails or the cold un-inviting look.  Not Artisan gourmet quality for sure.

  2. This review is strictly for the personnel and the overall ambiance.  I'd unexpectedly had lots of time to kill late this morning before a Meetup group began at a small nearby coffeehouse, and I was going to be getting coffee there.  This Pret A Manger is rather large, so I figured my presence would be unobtrusive.  The manager was *very* friendly & she had a lovely smile, and she kindly gave me the code for the restroom (which was very clean).  The other woman working there was also friendly.  The interior space is very attractive, too.

  3. Love Pret! The Chelsea location specifically is quite large with wide verity of food and beverages! Got there two chocolate chip which was not affordable and delicious! The strawberry lemonade is my fav there and the coffee never disappointed me in the past!

It's definitely the go to place if you looking for a quick bite or a cup of coffee!

  4. A Pret A Manger is a Pret A Manger mais non? For reals, no. I walked into this small like cafe to huge smiles and friendly hello's from the two garcons in the front. Thank you for that.

I was grabbing some quick nourishment. I wanted something light, but substantive and vegetarian. I found it. I grabbed a sandwich from the prepared section, grabbed a seat in the limited seating area and devoured my rather small sandwich. This whole process taking a matter of 5 minutes flat.

The Super Green: Malted Wholegrain Bread  + Avocado  + Kale & Spinach Mix  + Red Peppers  + Toasted Almonds  + Pret Seasoning
Half a freshly sliced avocado and a dollop of kale dressing (blended with wild mushrooms, lemon juice and tofu). Topped with red pepper rings and toasted flaked almonds.

It was f*cking delicious. Kind of gnarly at first like when you first start choking down a kale juice, but then the hints of avocado and the crunch of the sweet almonds came through and I was like wow, this beats that chicken club any day of the week. This sandwich was awesome and was the perfect light bite I needed; not too filling, but very satisfying.

At $7-$8 this was no steal, but I was definitely happy with my quick bite and friendly service. Maybe not the best option for those with some serious hunger pains.

  5. Okay, so it's pre-made to-go food under fluorescent lighting, but you guys, it's GOOD to-go food. Fresh, thoughtfully prepared and balanced flavors make Pret a Manger by far my preferred method of fast food-ish dining, especially sine their locations are always spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful rather than just this side of frightening.

Pret started in London, and while the English aren't exactly renowned for their cuisine, this is an ingenious idea and one I am glad to see make it across the pond. Fresh sandwiches, soups, ask ads and fruits with a line of tasty chips and drinks to compliment.

Do yourself a favor and skip the disgusting burger joints, sodium-laden "burritos" and e-coli laced salads and head to Pret. Hell, I'll even take this over a slice on most days, especially when aiming for healthy and light.

  6. They have Wi-Fi

  7. Have you had Nori and tortilla wrap?

Yes, Nori, seaweed. It was my first. Although I didn't know what was inside, my curiosity made to try it. It looked like a big sushi roll with tuna salad but it was white meat chicken with tortilla and Nori.

    How was it?

This unusual combination gave me a smile. Light chicken with spicy mayo dressing was juicy and tasty. Nori gave extra texture and feeling of eating sushi roll. Thick cut cucumber gave a nice crunchiness and freshness. This wrap could be easily a mushy wrap without it.

    "Yoga Bunny Detox" soda?

I couldn't find Yoga or bunny in a drink. Did it detox? I don't know? It was a refreshing and not very sweet sparkling drink, a nice pair with food. I liked it.

This location has a booth with cushiony seatings and a communal table in natural wood. It was relax and comforting. Pret A Manger is fresh, creative, and healthy food for everyone.
