It's okay but I find it kinda pricey. The small cup of soup…and it is SMALL…is $4. Meanwhile I think it tastes like water. I had the chicken noodle soup.
The sandwich was only okay for me. I've had fuller sandwiches for the same price. And they are just as fresh.
I rather have a Banh Mi sandwich which I can get nearby for a little over $5 and it's huge.
I am quite sure they have their audience and I wish them luck in this new location.
Their brownie is really good though. Probably the best that I had ever.
Just not crazy about their prices.
A great new addition to my lunch choices!
This new PRET A MANGER opened today for business with a big BANG!
They treated everybody to a free lunch- sandwiches, drinks, popcorn, and brownie lunch bag.
Best wishes to this new PRET A MANGER!
For lunch, I knew that simply buying snacks from the vending machines at Baruch wasn't gonna cut it. Snack after snack, I kept craving more snacks. And they were overpriced too! I finally mustered my strength and managed to let my legs drag me all the way to Pret-A-Manger(I'm that lazy). Although I've walked by here numerous times in the past, I regret not having come here earlier. This was the remedy to all my hunger pangs and stomach growls! I glanced at every item on the fridge rack thoroughly before I decided to settle on a sandwich and a "pot," which is basically a mini salad. Everything was so tasty and healthy. I instantly felt rejuvenated and blessed to be alive to be able to enjoy such a simple, yet wonderful meal. This was what finally made my stomach shut up. Thank you, team @ Pret-A-Manger.
Holy smokes the coffee here is an abomination. What the heck guys? Do you mix in wood chips, mud, and NYC street sludge into the grinds? Nasty stuff.
That being said it's always nice to have another lunch option in the area when I want to grab something quick to eat during the work day. Dropped in here a few days ago to check out the new place.
Brand spanking new location near where I work.
Clean, bright, and plenty of seating. Smaller than most locations though.
Diverse selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, and wraps.
Hearty and tasty soup selections.
Friendly and quick counter staff.
Kind of pricey though for what you get. Also, avoid getting coffee here. Many other spots like Fika close by to grab a better cup o' joe.
I just claimed the Duke title. So I showed the cashier my Yelp screen — and jest-fully said "I deserve some respect today" — and she asked what the Duke title was. I explained — and she gave me my sandwich for free. Yelp!!!
Not sure what her name is but the lady at the cash register just made my day today by being so friendly. Customer service is so important.
While I tend to think that the sandwiches here are a little pricey (I can get a full blown burrito for the same price of a small sandwich here) they're about average New York City prices,
I absolutely love their avocado flatbread. It has cilantro, corn, tomatoes, and more yummy stuff. I used to get the sandwich with avocado and olives but once I tried the flatbread there was no going back. Vegetarians and avocado lovers, give it a try!
***Standard seating, Fully stocked fresh food, Friendly staff ***
Like my previous review on Pret, this location has fully stocked fresh and healthy items. The seating is bar stool type. Located close to the 4,5,6.
Clean, friendly, inexpensive, and tasty!
What's not to like?
Living in SF, when I get a chance to eat at a Pret, I will.
This one was my personal favorite this trip, mainly due to the service I received, the staffers I spoke with smiled and engaged and helped me.
Enjoy!
