  1. If you are looking for decent at best, over-priced bar food, this is your place. A couple of friends and I thought we would give it a shot on a football sunday and watch some games. We ended up splitting several appetizers and few pitchers of beer. On average it took 20 minutes for each pitcher of beer to arrive after we ordered it. The food actually came fairly quickly, but this may explain why it was all cold. The chicken wings were okay and the sauce was decent, but again, felt like they were just defrosted from the freezer. Plus, only 8 wings to an order which was surprising. The sliders had good chargrilled flavor which slightly made up for the again cold temperature. However, it was disappointing to see an already tiny slider bun that was less than half full with burger (which probably was no bigger than a quarter). I won't say this place was one star, there were definitely some redeeming qualities. Their TV selection is on point, great variety of games and high quality positioning.
Would I come back? Sure, if all my friends were going to watch the game and I definitely wasn't hungry and was okay waiting 30 minutes for pitcher of beer that costs what 5 beers would but fills two glasses.

  2. I loved this place! I came in last night pretty late so it was pretty dead in there. I used the check-in offer for a free fireball shot, which was nice. We ordered a couple beers and I got a mixed drink. The bartender was really friendly and upbeat, which was surprising considering how late in the night we showed up! It took a little long for my drink to come out and he was nice enough to give it to us for free because of the wait. Loved this place, will definitely come back!

  3. So, pretty sure I just found my new go-to spot for hanging with friends. While I originally came to Promenade for their Friends trivia night, I already know that I am most definitely coming back not just for trivia, but to watch all the sports.

Being a HUGE football fan (#steelersnation, waddup) and baseball fan (leggo, Yanks), I was pretty much in sports heaven the second I set foot in this place. With TVs covering every single wall of Promenade, I could easily watch every sports game going on at that very second (shout out to the TV showing the Scripps National Spelling Bee, I see you). With great Happy Hour deals daily for both drinks and food – buy one get one free pints of Bud, margaritas, shots of jager, buffalo wings and sliders from 4 pm to 8 pm – this place is honestly THE place to be on any game day.

The trivia was a blast too! My friends and I are all pretty diehard Friends fans and we had so much fun answering all the questions. There are 5 rounds with a total of 12 questions each and the top 3 places get gift certificates to Promenade. While we didn't win womp womp, we still had a great time. No doubt about it, we will definitely be back!

ALSO PLEASE ACTUALLY MAKE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH TRIVIA A THING, PROMENADE. WE'D BE THERE IN A HEARTBEAT KTHX.

  4. Came here to meet up with friends for a birthday celebration. It's a standard no frills sports bar atmosphere but the staff are all SO NICE. Not disingenuous in any way just a bunch of super cool, chill, nice people working here.

I would always recommend coming here anytime I'm in the neighborhood for the service alone.

Keep up the good work 🙂

  5. Love this place for this fish bowl. It's $36 but pretty worth it if you get it with friends. 4 people is perfect for one fish bowl. I only know of this place for the drink but their food is not bad either! I loved their quesadilla and fries. Great place to drink and watch sports and great service as well.

  6. Came here on a Sunday night and NOT during Happy Hour.
One of my friends suggested this place for the fishbowl drinks. I forgot how much it cost, but it was delicious! Not super soda poppy and just the perfect amount of sweetness. The alcohol was definitely masked by the soda and sweet syrups, but it does get to you!

I also ordered the Vegan burger with fries, nothing special. Will definitely come back during happy hour!!

Also make sure to check into Yelp for free fireball shots

  7. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for the Argentina vs Germany FIFA World Cup final. This place was super packed … great crowd though, good food and it was clean as well.

Our waitress was awesome, there was over 20 of us and she checked up on each one of us. She remembered everyone's orders and had made sure that the food and drinks kept coming. We ordered food left and right to the point where we forgot our own orders. When one of the guy was about to drop some nachos and we forgot who'd ordered what, he was very quick to return it to the kitchen, but our waitress went to flag him down as she remembered the order as well as who ordered it.

There were screens in every corner so I thought that was awesome. Having the DJ entering during half time and after the game was a nice touch, but I thought was unnecessary.

The only downside though was that the AC did not support the amount of people there that day.

Overall experience was good, we had a great time. I would recommend coming here for drinks and to watch sporting events.

  8. Meh…went for trivia night. Be forewarned…with trivia night each person MUST order a drink AND and food item. Small sizes…even for fries or onion rings (the onions rings were served on a giant plate so it looked like you got even less).

At one point, I believe they even served sushi. But any how…it's a sports bar with an interesting set up…tables in the back..side and front..with GIANT bar in the middle…interesting maneuverability issues (it's very narrow between the side "booths" and the bar).

Happy hour ended at 7p, but there was special trivia pricing at 8p so we waited for that after getting there at 740p. We asked if we could order our drinks at 756p…and get the special pricing since we'd be there for trivia…server said ok…but because she put the order into the computer before 8p…we were charged the full price. Not cool, but after talking to the manager we were able to get the special price. Yay for that!

The server was nice…up until the bill. The manager guy…a little abrasive it appeared. It was an ok experience, and I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted to enjoy trivia night, probably won't go back.
