We were around the memorial center when I decided to stop by for some quick and cheap food. Or so I thought! Damnn this was overpriced as hell! 3 slices ran us about $15… Should have just walked out and gone to a food cart instead. I ended up grabbing some halal after anyway because the slices were not that big. Crust was decent. Cheese pizza was average but the ones with toppings were disappointing. Sub-par to average pizza not worth the pricing. Walk a couple of blocks down and get some cheaper food if that's what you are looking for! Service was a little on the rude side as well.
Ordinary NY style pizza. I agree though, was a bit put off by the price. Nearly ten buckaroos for two cheese slices and a can of soda. Good pizza, tasty.
We wanted to experience New York pizza while on vacation and this just happens to be the place we tried it. It was lunch time after our 9/11 Memorial tour and we were looking for pizza in the area. This is a no-frills pizza place. Prices are OK, maybe a bit higher because of the tourists around the area, but they have a big variety of pizzas. It's not the cleanest place but the pizza was tasty. It was what we expected of NY pizza, thin crust, wide slice. I was full after one slice. It's not the king of pizzas and I'm sure there are better places, but it fit our needs. We got our NY pizza and we liked it!
I am not sure why is rated so low in Yelp because my experience was very good! The 2 stars that I took off is because price and because I got my pizza cold.
The store is right for a quick lunch, perhaps while waiting to enter one of the museums in the area.
There is a variety of flavors and the price varies depending the toppings.
I had a spinach and cheese slice and paid about $5. I enjoyed it very much besides the fact that it was too cold for me.
By far the worst pizza I've ever had. It was bland and over priced. I will never eat here again. The place doesn't look anything special.
I was on my way to the 911 memorial. All the restaurants around the area requires to buy something off the menu to use their restaurant. Being in New York we figured we would stop at this pizza place.
Typical New York pizza joint with premade pizza behind the glass. One slice of speciality pizza and soda set me back $10.
The staff was short and unwelcoming, their pizza was cold. They only heated it probably for a minute or two. I Do not recommend this place at all.
