  1. I decided to up the review to 4 stars as I've been back to the establishment several times after the initial review and found the service and food consistently improving.
To be exact, it's about 3.7 stars. There are still few items on the menu that I am still not a big fan of, then there are others which seems to be quite tasty.
Still a fan of Young chicken dish and Fungi risotto has been pretty appealing as well.  Lobster roll/sandwich is quite meaty, sliders were not bad. Fruit dish & assorted dried shredded squid side dish is a great add-on to people who order drinks instead of food.
On the other hand, uni pasta still seem to have overwhelming amount of garlic, mega crunch doesn't live up to its name and steak dish with side of potatoes and broccoli is pretty average.

  2. Stars for location, decor and service! The place is swanky and contemporary, with an apparent attempt to mix rustic nuances with new age decor. Unbelievable bottle prices and a wide variety of bar foods make this place optimal for a night out when you want to groove to music but have the comfort of a lounge setting.

  3. New nightlife spot in Fort Lee? Finally!

Situated in the corner of the Schlosser complex near BCD tofu house where the OG Pancake house used to be, it's very unassuming from the outside.

Walking in, the atmosphere will blow you away. High ceilings with big red drapes and unique light fixtures, the decor is definitely something you've never seen before.

I went on a Friday night, there were plenty of open tables. I sat in the corner with my friend and we ordered two margaritas. Electronic music was blasting, but not too loud whereas you could actually have a conversation.

The menu is new American style with some Korean influences. Not many vegetarian options, so I decided to go with the fried veggie dumplings appetizer.

The dumplings actually came out before the drinks, but no biggie, margaritas came soon after. The dumplings were nice and crispy. Margaritas came in a cool high stem glass with lots of ice and a mini straw. Interesting presentation, and I wouldn't have minded paying $12 for each so much if they weren't so weak.

I'm not a bottle service girl but I might have to check that out next time to make sure I get my money's worth on the alcohol.

I'll give it another shot eventually.

  4. My experience here is purely from my lunch experience. This place opened up merely 2 months ago, so they are still working out their kinks and experimenting with their menus. Completely understandable. First off, the PRICE of their lunch specials are impossible to beat. One of the specials is: soup or salad + pasta of the day (3 choices) + coffee or tea = $13. No joke. A special like this just across the river in NYC would easily be $25+. Very impressive.

The salad I was given surprised me with three pieces of friend chicken under the salad. Kind of wish they told me the salad was going to have friend boned wings in it. It was kind of weird to have to eat the salad, then try to eat the chicken off the bones. I like to just use my utensils and avoid touching food, so I was not a fan of the fried chicken touch.

I got the bacon&cream pasta, my company got the mussel pasta. The portions were abundant, and the pasta tasted great. I personally liked the mussel pasta more, but if you like cream based pasta, the bacon&cream would be great for you.
Oh, and their coffee tastes amazing.

The interior is very different from other restaurants in the area. It has a jazz-bar look, with rustic maroon color scheme, awesome overhead lights, and high ceilings.

Service was very attentive, friendly, and efficient.
Do they have live music or something in the weekends? It would be a beautiful restaurant and would add to their unique color if they did.
