Pure Bliss is a pretty simple place that serves frozen yogurt, fresh raw juices, and smoothies. A few other items, like soup, were added to the menu a few months back. It's a clean, spacious place with a good amount of seating, so it's great for families with kids.
I've only ever tried the raw juices and smoothies and I've never really had a complaint. I usually head over to Pure Bliss when I need a nutrient boost, so most of the time I get their Green Machine juice, which always tastes great. The guy who's usually behind the counter (I should really find out his name) is really nice, always willing to make accommodations to my order when I ask.
Though I've never tasted any of the fro-yo (I can't eat dairy) I have noticed that there's a lot of different toppings to choose from, so if you're a fro-yo fan I'd give it a try. If you're health-conscious, definitely try one of the juices or smoothies, they always taste great.
What the …?!?! I'm shocked by some of these reviews and the overall 2 1/2 star rating of Pure Bliss, mostly because since it's arrival in Pelham less than 2 years ago, it has become a favorite spot for families and groups of kids in town. And on a personal note, it might be single-handedly responsible for easing my husband's transition from "Manhattanite" to suburban dad.
On any given day, there are about 12 or more flavors of yogurt available … my favorite combination is Sour Apple sorbet with Vanilla bean, but since they frequently cycle flavors, I'll have to settle for Caramel Pretzel for the time being … woe is me! … it's hard out there for a MIP (mom in Pelham – haha!!). That's not to mention the multitude of toppings, both fresh (fruit, mochi) and fattening (who can resist brownie bites, cookie dough and sour gummy worms?!) They also serve homemade soups, freshly squeezed juices and other assorted snacks.
There are always coupons in circulation, customer loyalty cards and Daily Specials (like guess the weight Monday). They have already offered to host my book club for a gathering and I know that they host kids parties, too. I'll definitely have to take them up on one (or both) option soon!
