Queen Of Tacos
“The al pastor burrito is a good pick and so is the burrito bowl.”
“My bf had the chicken quesadilla and he was impressed.”
“I was told el pastor is the most popular (spicy pork with onions and pineapple), so I ordered two (again, you can only order two, not one).”

I am vegan so my options were limited, but I wanted chips and guacamole. Yum! I ordered spicy. The guacamole was freshly made with jalapenos for added spice. If the chips were this good, I am sure the usual fare is just as tasty.
Really really happy with my decision to come here. Definitely a hole in the wall place, but serves up some fresh, flavorful Mexican food that hits the spot.
I ordered a bistec taco and a carne enchilada (pork) taco. The meat was really tender and well-seasoned and the toppings were fresh! I got some avocado on them too (recommended)
Great prices, good food, friendly service; solid lunch place- will be coming back.
This is a famous place around my work, and a lot of people stop by when having time. I tried fish taco, al pastor and carne asada taco. They were all very good and the portion was humongous. Their burrito was really good too according to our colleagues.
Definitely a great joint for a quick mexican fix.
Small hole in the wall that looks like a bodega from the outside, this place serves up some tasty tortas. I ordered the carnitas torta and what made this place better then other places Ive tried in the city was that they use fresh herbs that are very floral and flavorful. The meat was also yummy. I have not tried anything else here , but you cant go wrong with the carnitas torta. They do have a sitting area further into the restaurant and a small TV playing a spanish speaking channel.
Yum!
I went to this place quite a few times over a few weeks while working at the hospital. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance-it is definitely a hole in the wall and essentially a bodega in the front half. But it really is comfortable and a great place to eat.
It was great for lunch- always had a seat, the waitress was extremely nice, made it back to work on time and the food was always fresh and good! My go-to meal was the shrimp quesadilla. I usually got the one that includes rice and beans (more food!). They always bring chips and salsa to start -also yummy!
If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely go back!
Sick of hospital cafeteria food, myself and 6 other colleagues decided we were in the mood for mexican food and after a recommendation from one of the nurses, we decided to try Queen of Tacos. After I saw the 4.5 Yelp stars, I was very excited!
I ordered a chicken burrito and within my group there were three burrito bowls ordered (two with spicy pork and another with chicken), and tacos (spicy pork, chicken, salted beef, steak, and beef tongue). We were starving and after 45 minutes of waiting for our food to be ready (I assumed it took so long because everything was being made fresh) we literally ran out with our bags of food back to the hospital to sit down and enjoy our meals.
I open my styrofoam container and a huge burrito sits in front of me covered in sour cream and I think I just won the jackpot! I immediately cut into the burrito (it's so huge, you need a fork and knife- don't even think about trying to hold it in your hands) and after my first bite, I'm immediately disappointed!! The entire burrito has absolutely no flavor at all — the yellow rice contained peas and corn (completely bland and undercooked with some pieces so hard I couldn't even chew, pretty sure it was straight out of a box) and the chicken (was it even chicken? was such a weird texture, very dry and completely flavorless), the beans (straight out of a can). Thankfully, I had asked for hot sauce on the side– even after dousing the entire burrito in hot sauce, it still wasn't enjoyable. Mind you, I was absolutely starving–we all know when you're starving, everything tastes like the best thing you've ever eaten– unfortunately, this was not the case!
As we sat around the table, every one of my colleagues was also beyond disappointed– one who ordered the burrito bowl with chicken was also convinced she didn't have chicken, the spicy pork was so tough and such a weird consistency, and even every one of the tacos was completely bland. I was actually embarrassed because I had been the ringleader in choosing this restaurant, as I feel the Yelp community generally doesn't let me down. All 7 of us were disappointed
Nice little place! Stopped here with a friend last night before hitting a concert at Lehman Center. Portions are huge – bring something to haul the extra home – and very reasonably priced.
I had a burrito with carnitas, and it was jam-packed with pork, avocado, rice, jalapenos, and all yummy things. My friend had a burrio al pastor, with plenty of pineapple. We each had a soda and were too full for dessert. I can't believe these burritos are only 6.00.
The service was excellent, the place has a real family feel, and I definitely enjoyed it enough to tell the husband that I have to take him there soon.
I was excited to eat here with coworkers during lunch since some nurses were recommending this place. What a mistake. I had gotten the spicy pork burrito and it was so dry. The meat didn't even seem to resemble pork. My coworkers got the vegetable burrito and the beef tongue and chicken tacos. The beef tongue was ok. The chicken was also really dry. The vegetable burrito which you don't think someone could mess up was so blah and not much better or edible than my pork one. Sorry would not be coming back or recommending this place.
