“Loses a star for the service, sometimes they are a bit slow with refilling the buffet items or bringing the check.”
“Taste has been great, and meets up with the quality of food we used to drive to iselin/Edison for.”

I only took away 1 star for ambiance- the food is great! Always a buffet, always fresh! The buffet varies daily, and Wednesday is my favorite night. Do yourself a favor- ignore the facilities and go for the food. You will not find anything better for the price in Middlesex County.
I come here occasionally when visiting friends in the Sayerville area, and we want to feel bad about ourselves from gorging at a buffet.
First off, the parking lot for this restaurant is kind of an awkward layout. The front of the restaurant is normal, with plenty of spaces to park, but there's this little tiny strip of asphalt that connects it to the main street / lot, barely big enough for one car to fit through at a time, in one direction. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but there's always some moron who's hitting the local QuikChek and decides to PARK in the area that has 5,000 yellow lines saying "Don't park here!", making it near impossible to get to the adjacent (restaurant) parking lot. Don't make the mistake of going to the right, either – there's a huge curb there that will likely damage your car if you decide to go hurtling over it.
The restaurant is nice enough inside, fairly standard to most others. There's tables, a buffet, some traditional pictures / artwork, etc. The buffet is fairly large with a ton of vegetarian and meat dishes, and enough variety for everyone to enjoy something. Best yet, the price is one of the cheapest I've seen, and only $10.95 for dinner. The food is OK, although I found the quality lacking on some dishes – some had WAY too many spices put into it and were unbalanced, others were kinda bland, and a few were downright tasty. Not really my favorite buffet, but it'll do in a pinch.
In the times I've been here, the service has been mediocre. Usually they're pretty good on keeping your water glasses filled, but if you want to order a lassi or want to get the check to leave – they're nowhere to be found. The last 3 times I've eaten here, I ended up having to flag down someone after finishing our meal and waiting for ~15+ minutes with empty plates, ready to leave. It's nice of them not to want people to feel rushed, but I'd still like to be able to just pay and leave.
Not a bad Indian place, but not my favorite either.
The $10.95 dinner buffet is a bargain–each night has a different theme, but their website gives you no detail as to how the dishes vary. This spot is hard to find and the service is minimal, but the food is similar in quality to Edison buffets, although with a little less spice.
