  1. What can I say about Ralph's? When one of my best friends from out of town was crashing the night at my place, I knew I had to take her to Ralph's to become envious that I live so close-by to this mouth-watering mini-franchise, and she lives too far.

I love every flavor I've ever ordered. I am a bit dismayed at watching their prices jump every year. I've also heard some pretty gross stories from former employees about the state of the creme ices each morning. I won't share because it might deter you from eating it again. But, in short, it does get taken care of, and while pretty gross, it still doesn't stand a chance to the deliciousness of the product.

  2. Got the cookie dough cream ice and the bonsai banana cream ice. Both were good, but the cookie dough tasted like vanilla. Oh well, still a good dessert to have after dinner in the area.

Customer service is great. These people work hard to help everyone quickly. They were so kind to us last night, as we didn't know it was cash only and didn't have enough, and they let the last dollar slide. I know it's only a dollar but they could have been jerks about it and weren't.

    Cash only!!!

  3. Solid italian ice. 'tis a little spot though– with a very large selection.

Try, buy, nom… but you might want to nom at home or walking around because there isn't really anywhere to nom nom while inside.

3.5 stars. Would be 4, but not quite. Maybe a return visit…

  4. You know spring is here when Ralph's is open!  I am so happy that Ralph's season has started again.  Each year, they come out with newer and better flavors.  I usually stick with the coffee-based cream ices (mocha chip is my favorite!) and get another one to accompany.  You can get two flavors in the small.  Mint Cookie Crumb is also a favorite (in terms of cream ices).

I recently tried their Cookie Monster Ice Cream (it's blue just like Cookie Monster himself).  I think I'm going to have to go back here just for that alone.  I'm a Ralph's regular as it is.  Going to be trying lots of flavors I hope in the next few months.  So sad that they do not have one close by to me in the city.

Prices are reasonable, and if you're visiting Long Island, you have to go!  They do send out buy 1 get 1 free coupons throughout the season!

LOVE Ralph's!  Just writing about it makes me want to have it right now.

  5. Decent prices, good and friendly service.  Tastiness all around.  I will say there is a slight difference in flavor from the one near Bellerose, but otherwise all is good.  Small storefront, so be prepared to get in, get your ices, and loiter outside.

  6. Been going to this location forever, mostly because its a mile from my house. Small store but good location. Plenty of parking in the back and a nice park down the block to walk to after you get your ice. Attentive staff that really moves quick and sometimes the line is out the door! Can't wait for summer to enjoy more Italian Ices! My personnel favorite flavors: Red Raspberry, Blood Orange, Cannoli, Tri Color Cookie, Black Raspberry and pistachio
