  1. Ordered a iced soy chai latte.  It was ok, but i will not order it again.  It has a strong cardamom and cinnamon taste.  I prefer more of a ginger taste, but that's just my personal preference.  The baristas were nice and made sure to remind the person making my latte to use soy milk as I mentioned my milk preference later.

I've had their cold brew before, and I like that so much better.  The cold brew is very smooth and less acidic then regular coffee.

  2. I really liked the ambience. I just got off from greyhound and I came here for a coffee. I really liked the seating and how people enjoyed what they were doing at that time. I ordered a coffee with milk. It was right on, I liked it!

  3. I went to Ramini last week because it was the closest cafe after a crippling (literally and figuratively; see my previous review) aerial hammock class.

Coffee has never been my thing, so I look for sweet stuff when I go to cafes. Ramini doesn't have too many of those in beverage form, but there is a delightful selection of baked goods. Merely thirsty, I opted to skip over them and order an iced matcha latte with almond milk. I could have used a bit (I don't think any was added at all) of sugar in it, but I appreciated the purity of the matcha. It wasn't artificial, as matcha so frequently becomes as it becomes more mainstream.

Ramini itself is a very brightly lit place with a great ambience. The ceiling by the entrance is quite high, which makes the place feel spacious even though there is not much space for customers to sit, only two tables by the windows/entrance and three benches by the door. The wifi is also a mess, so I wouldn't recommend working here, but it's definitely a nice place to meet with a friend.

  4. They serve great teas…The little down side is that it's closing at 5PM. Next time I will try their coffee for sure. They even have one of those Kyoto cold brew towers.

  5. Nutella croissant was delish. Iced latte was too bitter for my taste. Daily samples on the counter and helpful staff but – $8 for the meal, which I believe to be overpriced.

  6. I loved the open windows and plants! Lots of treats and samples. A couple bummers: no bathroom, and the cold in house tea was overly bitter-steeped too long.

  7. I'm in New York for the week – staying close by. I was trying to choose between Ramini and Best Bagels, and I chose here b/c its  alittle closer. Cute shop.

Get can get free coffee & $10 credit for coffee/tea here with the code "F V V 5 X", input that code when you download the CUPS app.

  8. Since last weekend I began to really fall in love with flat white and am trying various coffee shops these days to look for a better one comparable with laughing man in TriBeCa. Ramini definitely belongs to that group.

Got in right before 720 so there aren't that many of people. I quickly got attracted by their inside decoration – with broken wall and mirrors, interesting! The skinny flat white smoothly melt in my mouth the second I took my first sip, however the scent stayed. It was definitely the top three flat whites that I have tried.

Haven't tried yet but their macarons also look delicious to me.
