  1. I came here with my friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. It was a busy Thursday night but it was not packed. We still had to wait 15-20 mins for a table.
We all ordered the endless shrimp. The 4 choices were the scampi, hand breaded, linguini alfredo, and grilled ginger wasabi.
The cheddar biscuits of course are the best item. The salads were drenched in dressing.
The shrimps came along with wild rice (filler) which was really. We didn't pig out too much and put waitress was very attentive.

  2. I did not go here by choice.  One of my friends was treating so I said why not?  This particular restaurant was of decent size and interesting décor hanging throughout the restaurant.  The service was okay.  The staff was more occupied with their friends who came for dinner at a nearby table.  The food did come out in a timely matter, but it took a decent amount of time to place our order.

The cheddar bay biscuits that start the meal were very solid.  There can be multiple orders placed for these too without charge to my knowledge.  They are filled with flavor.

For an appetizer, the crispy shrimp lettuce wraps were ordered.  The shrimp was tossed in a soy-ginger sauce with jalapeno slices.  There was also lettuce to add the shrimp to.  This dish was nice.  I am not usually a fan of ginger, but the sauce was quiet good.  There was also a fair amount of shrimp.

For an entrée, I ordered the dinner portion of the salmon New Orleans.  It was made of Atlantic blackened salmon with shrimp in a Cajun butter sauce with Pico de Gallo.  There were also two sides along with a salad.  I believe I had a choice between a salad and a 3rd side.  I went with the house salad.  There were no complaints with that.  I had the rice and broccoli as my sides.  They were solid too.  The salmon was alright.  There was a kick with the Cajun butter sauce, but nothing that wowed me.  I liked the baby shrimp present in this dish as well.  The shrimp went together well with the Cajun butter sauce, much better than the salmon I thought.

Will I go back?  I might.  Not bad.

  3. I'm starting to get tired of this franchise. I came here for lobster tacos and ended up getting a lobster tail plate. The mash potatoes were fine but the string beans where disgustingly raw. I was so disappointed in the food preparation. The sauce was nothing special and the tails were tiny. I love how the commercials will always pump up the tail size and when you actually receive it, super tiny. 29 Dollars for this plate is not worth it. One extra star goes to the server. He's the only thing that saved this encounter. Other then that, food stinks. Maybe it's a lunch thing and dinner is better.

  4. I grew up near this restaurant and as a kid thought it was the ritziest gourmet restaurant ever. As an adult it's funny to look back at the naivety of ourselves as children. I digress. "Cheddar Bay biscuits are heaven" as some dumb girl also waiting to be seated said. She is right, albeit this was only intelligent thing she said.
Still digressing, after being told the wait was 35 minutes we waited about 25 minutes on Saturday night to be seated. Good start. The server was friendly and not too overwhelming. The food came quickly and the tilapia special was very good. The cheese sticks weren't as cheesy as I've been accustomed to, but we're tasty as well. The stuffed mushrooms kept up with the other dishes. The Caesar was a bit too dressed, but still ok. I will return to this gourmet ritzy restaurant again.
On a side note, I am short, but this location had the shortest collection of employees I think I've ever seen. If you have anything against shorties stay away from this Red Lobster and maybe East Brunswick & New Jersey altogether. It will make the wait times (and road traffic) better for all us shorties.

  5. well we went there last night my family was protesting about it. We keep giving it chances hoping it will change and get better. No such Luck! We are still recovering from the overabundance of sodium in our system. If you have to use that much seasoned salt and other salty spices on fish then there is something definitely wrong with this picture. I usually love the biscuits but there was so much garlic salt sprinkled on them and they were undercooked we couldn't even enjoy them. We ordered the lobster bisque creamy, salty and lobster ran through it. The salads we all ordered dressings on the side. They messed up my son's dressing and gave him some raspberry vinegarette crap which son hates, son asked for balsamic. Our ceasar salads were "fresh out of a bag" could still taste bag and dried out the dressing was so thick it looked like mayo. Appetizers ordered one. that was enough. It was the seafood sampler: It came with shrimp cocktail( meduim size) coconut shrimp( the dippin sauce was pure sugar icing) and lobster n crab stuffed mushrooms( they were edible) the rest was gross. My son ordered the safest thing on the menu I believe. It was the snow crab legs steamed. He inhaled it and said it was really sweet, it also came with a few over cooked n mushy potatoes and a burnt piece of corn on cob which he skipped. My husband and I ordered the new dish it was a lobster tail, shrimp skewers and scallops (yum right??) WRONG!!!!! soooooo salty and overseasoned you couldn't even tell what kind of fish you were eating. My lips are still burning from the overdose of sodium. I've been trying to drink alot of water to flush out the abundance of sodium in my system. The rice pilaf was also salty from being under the seafood and the grilled vegetables ironically had no taste. The waiter was no where to be found when our beverages were done. Which really stunk because the salt was making us so parched we didn't even have glasses of water to back up the drinks we were missing. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks and another 20 for refills. For the prices they charge it was the biggest waste of money should've fed the money to the lobster tank. Live and Learn. I noticed that everyone around us was drinking alcohol maybe thats the only way you can enjoy the food because it isn't sober.

  6. Wow they have biscuits. I have the recipe from my 11th grade cooking class. All I ever wanted was to go and try endless shrimp. I love shrimp and Red Lobster endless shrimp was one of the biggest let downs of my life. After eating 80 of them for the 13 bucks I still can not say it was worth it. Small over cooked and out of like 6 options maybe 2 were good. For the same price I could get larger shrimp in a ton of more flavors at the buffet next to ShopRite on 18. I stopped at 80 cause I was getting bored of the same 2 flavors and waiting for more to come out.

  7. Well I have to say I enjoyed my dinner, company with no complaints and happy bellys. We had a free appetizer which was nice. We tried the coconut shrimp which was delicious. I also had the two "build your own". I tried the shrimp linguine, which I picked all the shrimp out because it looked too pink and was tough and chewy like. Not a normal flavor to me. I eat shrimp a lot and this didn't taste appealing to me. The steak was ok, but when I got into the middle it was a little more rare than I like. Although the bake potatoes was delicious. I love that they bake it with sea salt all around it. YUMMY. The biscuits and salad are always a plus and tasty too. Our service was ideal. NO issues and really enjoyed it for the most part.

if you want to have a tasty sit down meal and enjoy yourself and make it happen at your local red lobster.

the drinks are pretty tasty, but I was eating out soo much ONE less calorie or sugar item is better.

  8. Like always, I have a pleasant experience.
It was Fathers Day and we decided to take our Old Man out for some Lobsters. I was a bit bummed to hear they don't do reservations, but what the hell its Lobster time. To my surprise we did not have to wait at all when we arrived.
The wait staff was super courteous and pleasant, we were first put on a table but when I request for a booth, they were prompt to move us to a booth with a broad smile.
The wait staff was a bit slow, but they were packed so I get it. The food like always was delicious, and the latest addition to the menu "New England Lobster Bake" 6 lobster tails and a side for $28 seems to be steal to me (OK the lobster were not huge may be 1 pounder lobster tails but still)

All in all it was a great experience, the big guy was super happy and we left with a bag full of Cheddar Biscuits 😉
