I only come here for the frozen yogurt because I'm a huge fro-yo fan. Red Mango's fro-yo is not as good as 16 Handles, Off the Wall, or Yogurtland but I keep coming back because of its location near my building. The thing I do and also don't like about the fro-yo is that they rarely change the flavors. This is good because if you're craving a certain flavor, you know it'll be there; but it'd be nice to see some more variety. I personally recommend the vanilla bean, taro root (surprisingly delicious!), and peanut butter. They also have peach, strawberry, mint cookie, cookies 'n' cream, and others. The toppings bar is great with an excellent selection of fruits and candies. They even have rainbow Italian cookies which I think is cool.
The other downside of the fro-yo at Red Mango is the price. It seems a little pricier than most fro-yo places. I may spend ~$5 for a standard size of frozen yogurt at most places but would spend close to $8 for the same amount of yogurt.
Gross. Unless you enjoy what I'd imagine to be the taste of the chemical cleaner used in dive bars around the city, I suggest that you avoid Red Mango.
In the mood for frozen yogurt, I tried out this location since it is close to work. Selecting the smallest giant cup (all of the cups are giant), I filled it a quarter of the way with original, and topped it with strawberry-flavored boba.
Paying $4.05 for what would perhaps be the worst frozen yogurt I have had, I left. At first I thought that my palate was off, but it soon became apparent that it was the yogurt.
An interesting location…the "cafe" red mango was a great franchise idea. The place was clean… Almost too clean that I felt uncomfortable-like smelled like cleaning stuff. The service was polite but not as outgoing as 16 handles or pink berry. The selection of frozen yogurts was typical BUT I would give 5 stars alone to the flavor "tarot" with a little picture of a magic crystal ball. Without knowing what it was, I devoured a cup of it with some fruits n crunch I selected from the variety of well maintained toppings. Sat and enjoyed with my gf. If I lived in the hood this would be a great place to grab a wrap for lunch and frozen yogurt for now.
Side note: tarot is actually an Asian sweet potato flavor -like Taro in taro tea. It has a creamy vanilla nutty taste. And the color of the froyo was purple!!
Great addition to the mid town froyo sceen And yes it's a ***SELF SERVE*** Red Mango station!! Flavors: the usual suspects: tart, vanilla, some berry flavors Special flavors: nutella (eeek… not impressed)

Absolutely delicious mango/pineapple smoothie. Service was quick and very friendly. I would definitely come back!

The boba were artificially tasty, though.
I'm currently flushing my system with water.
