  1. This place has the view of a vacation spot Abs the atmosphere also. I loved that. The live music family and hand out spot. The appetizers are great.

But the young girl a waitress was horribly servicing and we never got our bread only after we received our bill and I mentioned it she brought it after I told her not to. I got one water refill and I had to ask for it. Our food went to someone who came after us.

Now the appetizers were ready good but the main courses were blend. The lobster roll not seasoned, and they over drenched it in butter. The fries were greasy and limp. My wife got a blend fries with an okay fish on top although she loved the over cooked vegetables.

I will be back to this place for drinks and appetizers only.

  2. Came here after the local car show across the street to grab a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised! Service from the beginning was very good, sat  in the front outside seating area with palm trees  and overhead music playing , it was really nice & relaxing ,my friend and his daughter and I enjoyed a smorgasbord of seafood starting with the clams on the half shell which were fresh and delicious, followed that up with the fried calamari and crabcakes & with in minutes both dishes were gone!Lol the calamari was perfectly fried with good homemade marinara sauce and the crab cakes were fantastic w lots of crab and  a nice dipping sauce it was like a lemony ranch with some kick to it , I had some of my friends muscles in garlic and oil and they were outstanding with garlic bread to dip I was in heaven!Lol I washed it all down with a nice Corona and a margarita and the only reason I left off a star was because it was a bit pricey but other than that I will definitely be back again soon! Great spot to come in the summer in beautiful East Rockaway Village.

  3. Walked in on a beautiful night.  There was a wait for a table, no big deal.  We went to the bar to grab some drinks.  The bartender said he couldn't make a lot of the drinks on the drink menu because he didn't have all the ingredients.  UM, okay.  Glad to see you have your bar stocked, buddy.  And I am in no means a picky drinker, I could have a beer, a glass of red/white wine, a cocktail, I could give a shit less.  But just be nice about it.

Any way, once we finally sat down, our server was no where to be found.  Once he finally found us, we placed our order.  He asked us how we wanted our seared tuna cooked.  Is that weird or is that just me?  Isn't it supposed to be rare?  Hence seared?  Whatever… I work at a restaurant and I KNOW my menu.  I help people out with what to order and it's annoying when people don't do the same.  If I am paying $25 for Salmon, give me a damn recommendation.  He didn't help us with any options.

Food took a while, but it was a Friday night so it was understandable.  I had lettuce wrap tacos which were just OK.  I like the ones at PJ changs better which doesn't say much.
My friend got the Salmon, which I tried and again, was decent but nothing great.

A plus is that they have outdoor live music, but honestly, I wouldn't come here again.

  4. Never was a big fan of the Fishery and my experiences at the Reel have yet to impress.  The Real has a typical seafood menu that is sort of uninspired considering the relatively high prices.  Service, food, and experience were unmemorable for the price tag.  I guess the outdoor deck is a draw if you catch the weather and the tide (smell) at the right moment, but recent construction in the area sort of compromises the atmosphere.  Live music is pretty chill, for a slightly older crowd, and since I'm local I feel that I may someday find myself "getting down" here while wearing my Tommy Bahama shirt and Mandels.

  5. I went here for my cousins 30th birthday. It was a group of about 40 people on a Saturday night at the outdoor bar. The atmosphere was awesome. Right on the beach made it awesome. My uncle paid for about 2 and a half hours worth of hor dorves and about 3 hours worth of open bar. The food we had was really good, but we had to wait for really long periods of time to get food.

  6. They have a large beer selection but don't serve draught beer
    Service was good.

  7. I came here for a work gathering even though I was not really in the mood to go out. To my surprise, I enjoyed myself. The laid back atmosphere and live music was chill. You can eat indoors or out.  The poboy, and oysyers were great and the drinks were generous. They had a band playing danceable music. I would definately come back again.
