To host a larger group I would say go somewhere else. Its a small bar with one bartender who seemed beyond overwhelm with a larger crowd. Perhaps they don't see that amount of volume at a time so its understandable. Ordered a simple Tito and club and it took 15 minutes just to get a drink and this is after her even saying I will be right with you but took 3 other drink orders.
We ordered some apps which came out pretty quick and were actually not that bad. So I'm sure the food here is probably decent since some of the apps were good. They have a small outdoor seating with a few chairs and tables which is nice on a summer night.
The check was confusing and the tip was added which is pretty ridiculous – considering service isn't great. Would I come back, doubtful. This place has so much potential.
Each year, we have our work team lunch here. Though, after our last incident, I don't know if we'll be returning.
The food was decent. I got a pasta with red sauce, which was good. Some of the others got steaks. One was a little rare so the kitchen just put it back on the grill and it then became way more than medium. But we just dealt.
The staff was friendly and polite but they were very slow. Also, we sat waiting a long time waiting for our food yet we couldn't wave down a waiter to find out what was taking so long and also to pay our check at the end.
The year before, we had amazing service and great food. So, hoping that this recent time was just them having an off day.
If you're looking for the perfect steak, look no further! Perfectly cooked (med rare), perfectly seasoned (seasonings, but not over-powering, just the right amount of salt and other spices), enough fat on the edge to add that flavor you need when eating a huge slab of meat! I can't wait to go back. The maitre'd (manager?), VERY friendly and attentive – made us feel like long time customers, even though it was our first time here (we had a Groupon – but no worries, we'll definitely be back!!) the server was "eh" – he 'forgot' to mention that there were King Crab legs as an appetizer special. Ask me what the one thing on the menu that I would order over and over again? KING CRAB LEGS! How the F*CK could he forget that!? I overheard him tell the table next to us as we were 1/2 was through our meals. Oh well. He wasn't as friendly and attentive as the others (busboys/water server), but they more then made up for him. Don't get me wrong, as a waiter, he was fine – but he didn't check back on us until we were finished (and I mentioned the King Crab Legs – he said he told us, and I said 'oh no, you absolutely did not because there would have a plate of them on our table'), but he smiled and apologized…and we realized that there was life behind his eyes and he did have a personality (LOL). My mom and I ordered Hendricks gin and tonics, which were perfectly poured, and hubby ordered a glass of house cabernet which was a good house wine. We opted out of appetizers and were brought fresh, warm bread and house salads which had a light citrusy dressing on them – very tasty. Since the entrees are a'la carte, we ordered a side of sautéed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and garlic mashed-potatoes. The spinach was perfectly steamed in garlic and oil, the mushrooms were perfectly round and huge and each one was better than the next. The garlic mashed po's could have used some more garlic, but they were fine and hubby almost finished that side on his own! (decent portions for the sides – 3 of us split them easily). Then came our steaks. NY strips – 16 ounces of pure heaven. My husband and I practically licked our plates clean. That was one of THE best steaks I have ever had. I made my mom order the lamb chops after seeing a picture of them on YELP. In the picture, there seemed to be 5 or 6 chops. She only received 3, with a side of mint jelly which made her a very happy camper. But, those 3 chops were HUGE – and perfectly cooked (medium rare) – she picked those bones clean!!!! Once again, no room for dessert and I can't believe we ate everything, but it was worth every single penny (which came to about $150 before the Groupon. 3 entrees, 2 mixed drinks, 2 glasses of wine, 3 side dishes – not bad in my opinion). I'll pay top dollar for an excellent meal, and Regina's hooked us up! See you soon!!!
Came here about 3 weeks ago and i have nothing but great things to say. Bought a living social offline and it was the best deal i have ever bought!
Arrived for our 7pm reservation about 5 minutes late. This was no problem to the host/ matrie'd. He walked us to our seat and handed us a wine menu. The decor is rustic but open and fresh,. The seats were so comfortable, it made the dinner even more relaxing.
Now a waiter came over with our menus. I had been eyeing the menu for about a week and already knew what i wanted. We decided to first get an appetizer of the mussels. Numerous people have told us to order them because they are that amazing. What came out was a bucket (like you bring to the beach to make a sand castle) of mussels! I was delighted! They were tasty, and so much broth. I would of been fine after that, but we still had our main to wait for.
I ordered the strip med rare and my boyfriend ordered the pork. The steak came with a side salad which was divine. It was not a cheap ice berg lettuce, It was mixed greens with fresh veggies, and an awesome vinaigrette. My steak was cooked to perfection! There was not one negative about it. He loved his pork. They also offer sauces to accompany your steak on the side. I chose the Gorgonzola sauce, and even though you don't need a sauce, it was nice to dip every now and then.
The sides were ala cart. We ordered the creamed spinach and the garlic mashed potatoes. The spinach was amazing! Loved it. We did not taste any garlic in the mashed potatoes, maybe they gave us regular by mistake? Who knows we never bothered to mention it to our server.
Speaking of server, the service was top notch. Very attentive, and they took their time there serving you. Never rushed.

Came here with my family for dinner. The atmosphere of the place was great. We had the calamari appetizer, the black linguini, and tuna. The food was delicious. We also had carrot cake for dessert which was yummy.
My only issue with this place was the service. Our waiter was not attentive, and we had to hunt him down frequently.
We also had an Amazon local voucher to use, which they forgot to take off our bill and insisted we do the math. That wasn't too difficult but it was annoying.
Would try this place again hoping the service improves.
Porterhouse Steak is Incredible!!! Great place for a couples date but also a cool spot to lounge and have drinks with friends. They play some great old school R&B music on Friday nights.
Each time I come here I get excellent service and served great food! I'm never disappointed when I leave. The owner/manager Ardis is also attentive and makes his customers feel right at home.
The lamb chops and the cowboy steak are also amazing!
