Reichenbach Hall

“(If ordering the 2 liter boot which is $30, they ask for your credit card and put in an extra charge of $30 to hold just in case you break the boot.”

“We also got the curry wurst which was a good representation of the many curry wurst stops I made in Berlin!”

“The mixed bratwurst plate came with sauerkraut and another beet dish (don't know the real name), and my friends and I only finished the wursts haha.”

  1. I want to update my review and let the yelp community know that Reichenbach hall is truly a blast. The German sausages, potato salads, pretzels, sauces, and salads were amazing. Of course, the brews were phenomenal, and I'm so glad I gave them a second chance. As I mentioned in the last review, there was the possibility of an off night for them when I went, and I'm glad to say that truly was a fluke. The staff also treated us superbly. I can't wait to come back! Thanks!

  2. I was looking for a beer garden for a much needed night out with my friends, and Reichenbach is definitely a great place to go and relax. What's more, they take reservations on opentable! My favorite.

We got there and sat at tables with benches for seats and were not crowded at all. They were pretty busy and our server didn't visit us frequently but she was attentive to our needs.

They have a wide selection of beer, including some German classics. I would like to try many of them! Their menu also has a range of items. For the more price challenged visitors like I am, the back page with sandwiches offers the best deal.

The chicken schnitzel sandwich was tasty with tender chicken and flavorful breaking. It came with fries which were simply flavored, but let's be real, I ate the whole plate.

Next time, if I save up, I would like to try a schnitzel plate. Or one of the sausage sandwiches, which smelled amazing. This place is a bit loud, but a good way to go relax in a somewhat sporty atmosphere for an evening.

  3. I liked this place.  The staff were friendly, the communal tables were friendly.  The food n beer is all ok, nothing great, and maybe a little pricey for what it was (but hey someone else was paying, and midtown is not full of fabulous bargains).  I'd happily go back if someone suggested it, but I don't think I'd be the one suggesting it, unless I had a particularly strong craving for a Germanic night.

  4. Ahh, I finally made it here after YEARS of hearing about this place! So happy I did, too! 🙂

I met my friend after work for some beers and German grub, and while I don't mind the communal aspect of this place, my friend and I decided to get our own table so we could chat and catch up. We were greeted by our waitress right away, who was very nice and friendly, and we ordered a couple of beers from the extensive beer menu and some food. We went with the cheese bratwurst sandwich and big pretzel. Both were delicious!! We were actually tempted to order some more food, but we wanted to save room in our bellies for the cold brews, so we decided against it (next time, I'm definitely trying some of the other dishes though!).

Overall, I'm excited for my next trip back to this place and would like to go with a bigger group and maybe even get a BOOT!

  5. We were here for the Yelp Elite event, and it was great.  The beer selection here is definitely one of the better ones in the city, and I cant wait to go back for Oktoberfest.  The food was quite good as well, the sausages were tasty and the german style potato salad was very authentic (with little bits of scallions mixed in).  They also have a cool looking ski shot – its 4 shot glasses on a ski and 4 people take it all at once.  Oh, and the schnitzel was really good.

  6. Grapefruit beer is sooo good! I don't usually like to drink beer but this is really good. Lot of seats for bigger groups. Great place to hang out and catch up with friends. I'd definitely come back again to get the grapefruit beer.

  7. Long tables that you typically envision in beer halls with TVs on all the surrounding the walls. My friends and I stopped in at 11PM on a Saturday night to grab a few drinks. The place was pretty empty and there was ample seating. I love enjoying a snack with a good drink so we opted to share the giant pretzel (nothing special about it specifically but it was good) and a boot of Benediktiner (reminds me of blue moon). It was a great time with good vibes. They have a ski shot here also for about $40 so if you have a group of four and want to take a shot together, do it in style.

  8. Reichenbach Hall is a really great venue with a nice, spacious interior with plenty of bench seating. Great food, great drinks, great variety. Prices are reasonable, and service is decent.
