This Rice-N-Tea is located inside Good Fortune Supermarket as a food court.
It's not the cleanest but you can get 3 choices with rice for $4.95, called "lunchbox" fare.
They also sell the entrees as single boxes by themselves for an average price of about $5-$6 range. The boxes are the size of the usual Chinese plastic round takeout containers. I have asked them to split the box to put two types of entrees in it, half and half and it's still the same price.
They also sell small and large styrofoam containers of various stir fried noodles including chow fun, fried rice noodles and lo mein.
They also have the hanging barbecued meats like roasted duck, roast pork, roast pig, soy sauce chicken in one corner, pastries and dim sum in another corner.
I come here all the time.
There are a few seats but not many. No gratuity needed here because there is no table service. You just buy your food and walk it over to a table…if there is one free. I never have seen a free table, ever! I do takeout here only.
This spot is located inside a Asian supermarket, with a parking lot. From time to time I get drawn in from the sight, of the variety of dishes available to EAT, 3 choices of toppings on rice with a cup of soup for under 5 bucks. The toppings ranges from Steak, General Tso Chicken, Pork, Squid, Tripe, Clams to a variety of different Vegetarian dishes.
What always bother me about this spot is there is really nothing protecting the food from the mobs of people talking and pointing there finger over the food, some even coughing while choosing there toppings. *Disgusting* if you stand there long enough, you will be able to witness a patron shouting his or her choices over the food, while sprinkling it with there spit. "I only order toppings from the row far from the disgusting patrons". The servers are extremely cheap on how much food they serve you on the good toppings, making sure to to tilt the spoon "Quote on Quote" by accident if they given you to much lol. The servers always look angry!
Everytime I eat this food it puts me right to sleep. It's extremely hard to digest maybe it could be, the bucket loads of MSG they put in there dishes :). Overall the food taste ok nothing special, loads of food 4 a cheap price. The soup I never drink ( ToO Scared ). There is also a variety of Dim Sum Dishes, Peking Duck, Ribs and a bakery section with a small selection of Asian Breads & Cakes.

This Rice-N-Tea have breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ meats and bakery items
They also make bubble tea! (not great)
What more do I need to survive?
Extra credit for Rice-N-Tea & Good Fortune for staying open during super-storm Sandy, monsoons, snow storms, and future locust disasters.
For daily crisis like "I don't want to cook" comes up weekly then Rice-N-Tea becomes one of my opinion.
It is not gourmet food but it will do.
Three-items with rice or noodles- $4.95
One item dish- $6-7 (extra for some meal & seafood items)
Tip: this Rice-N-Tea (other one is in Elmhurst) does not have as many food items selections but it has a good mix of dishes.
Tip: My favorites bakery items are the ham&egg buns and fried fish buns. Both are the size of a large sandwich and sell for only $1.95.
