How can you go wrong with food on the beach? There Is nothing like sitting outside on an 80 degree day sipping a cup of joe eating breakfast while watching the ocean.
I have lived in Long Beach for 10 years and can't begin to tell you how excited I am that there are finally good food options on the boardwalk.
I have come here twice for breakfast. The service is friendly despite it being a little slow. They have a basic selection of breakfast and lunch fare. The place is cash only. A little on the expensive side but it's the beach, after all. Nothing competes with the view.
For breakfast Breakfast burrito, avocado, eggs, tacos. I had a breakfast burrito and country Egg and avocado. My fiancée and her friend had the breakfast tacos and protein sandwich. The Mexican fare was meh – but had tater tots which were fun. The sandwiches were great. The bread was delicious, the avocado was more of a grocery store guacamole. Fresh avocado and tomato would have made them perfect.
The coffee wasn't great, but go a block west for bottled cold brew at Gentle Brew and you have a perfect al fresco summer morning.
