  1. OK, I'm surprised that folks gave this Rite Aid, sh*tty reviews. I think it's a 3.5 stars in my book. They have a great selection of goods and they always got what I need. Their prices are good. All its honky dory, but hold up…they do have plenty of employees, but low on customer service. Their lines are usually long, but recently they have been moving a slightly faster pace, thus making them a lot short. And still to this day love this drug store, it provides me with goods but no service.

  2. Too few, and too unskilled. That describes the employment situation.

Often things are left un-stocked on shelves due to the aforementioned note, which adds to the frustration of typically waiting in a line around the store for 15 minutes just to pay.

Really not happy, but I'm semi-forced to go here for some things, due to prices.

  3. I saw a little girl crying here.

She wanted to buy a doll but it was too expensive so her mother said "no" and the poor little dear just lost her shit.  But I get it, I was a kid once (though I couldn't care less about a stupid doll).

What does that have to do with my review? Absolutely nothing.

I came here and it had everything i needed and I didn't have to wait too long to check out.  Most Rite Aids in Brooklyn it's like buying bread in Soviet Russia.  You stand in line forever while your soul gets just a little blacker and more crushed with each passing minute.

However, I lucked out when I came here and didn't have to wait so that's a good thing.  It was also very well stocked.

  4. I know people are hating on this Rite Aid, and I can understand where they're coming from.

There's no competition in this area, aside from Neergaard pharmacy, so if you need the kinds of things they sell (replacement razors, shampoo, condoms, etc.), chances are you're going to have to come here. The people that own this place know that, and so they're not going to go out of their way to make it all fancy.

And, sure, they're probably more expensive for most things than they should be, but if you need shaving cream you need shaving cream, you know? It sucks to work retail, so I just surrender to the fact that I'm going to have to wait in line with folks who need change for the bus (which stops outside) or people with those old granny carts who have to search through 3000 coupons to find the one that gives them 10 cents off Doritos.

The one saving grace of this place, though, is their food selection. I found Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches for a $1.50 less than I saw at C-Town.

And if that's not reason to rejoice, what is?

  5. Can I ever come here and there isn't a long line to buy one simple thing? Can I ever come here and there is more than two people working the registers with miserable faces!

  6. Terrible service. As everyone else has said, there is always a long checkout line because they apparently don't have enough cashiers. The shelves are poorly stocked, and the employees aren't very helpful. Go down the street to Neergaard for much better service.
