No different than a CVS. Make you wait for hours to check out as they only employ 1 person to work the register.
They recently changed their discount card to "Plenti" and will encourage you to sign up while your checking out. The process takes a good 6 minutes which makes it a bit uncomfortable while all 17 people behind you are getting pissy as they would like to just pay and leave.
Once you sign up for the "Plenti" card be prepared. You will get about 45 emails a day from this company. I still can't figure out how you save money. I do know that after 5 days I spent 20 feverish minutes trying to figure out how to stop all the spam.
So I've never had a problem when I've walked in here. I know what I want, I know where in the store to go get it. When I get on line to check out there's someone at the register. Weird how I'm the only one with that problem. I will admit on some other occasions they may be inattentive, but I've only had that happen once. I could understand if it is a regular thing, but it's not…at least not at this location for me.
Store is clean. Well stocked. Pricy, but at least you can get plenty points if your signed up. They have a great variety of items, even a healthy food isle. I love there nail polish display right in the front. Somehow I'm always drawn to that. I do find they have many products and brands there that other drug stores don't have. There's hardly anyone at the register. There's a bell your supposed to ring when your ready so they can come up. There have been times where I have waited quite a while for some to come and a line tends to build up. And I can't help but feel like sometimes they're a little annoyed about it. Some staff are almost robotic, like anally by the book and devoted to Rite Aid policy. I guess that's good for rite aid but just annoying for customers. Then You get the total opposite who don't say two words to you. Happy medium would be nice. Anyways, I'll continue to shop there when I'm in the area but checkout time is my least favorite part.
