  1. I don't know what's worse: the depressed, zombiefied workers or the annoying, pesky, penny counting, coupon obsessed customers.

I can see why the zombiefied workers are depressed.

  2. Rather large store, confusingly laid out and kind of messy.

I stopped by here to pick up a 5th Avenue candy bar on my way home from visiting friends in Sunnyside.  Okay, so I bought four of them.   Regardless, I got my candy bar and was quickly on my way.

Pro tip:  the cash registers by the front door had a huge line but there was an additional open cashier by the back door and I paid without waiting, unlike those suckers at the front of the store!

  3. I like the wide variety Rite Aid offers. Every time I go there to shop, I feel comfortable knowing I will find what I am looking for. It's like seeing an old friend. You expect to find discounts, cool stuff in the seasonal isles, and a good drink section. I love going shopping during the holidays especially during Christmas. Rite Aid offers some pretty neat stuff. The good thing about the chain is that they remain open 24 hours.
Call it a convenience store mixed in with a pharmacy.
Even when I travel, when I spot a store I feel secure.  I know that I will find what I need in a familiar setting.

  4. This is a really big pharmacy since it was two that combine. They always have anything I need and the prices are good well at least a bit cheaper than CVS. I love their $1 isle you can fine a lot of snacks, house and pet products.
This is where I get my prescriptions and this is a hit or miss. Sometimes they are fast and nice and others they make you wait forever. I know it must be a pain but If I'm here to pick up meds is because I don't feel well and want to be in and out. I wish they had more people working the pharmacy so it wouldn't take so long.

  5. Good
*This store is open 24 hours.
*It's huge and has what I need.
*Prices are typical for an NYC drugstore.
*The staffers aren't scowling at you.
*The location is close to the train station.

    Bad
*I always seem to wait in line to check out, no matter what.
*There's kind of an old, semi-grubby feel. Could use a remodel.
*The women's shaving stuff is separate from men's. Confusing!

  6. Its a really big store two stores combined together and there are two sections of registers 4 on one side of the store and 4 on the other side of the store.  What a waste of space!!!  Whenever I go there the lines can get very long.  Reason behind that is that they have one register opened!!!!  Once in a while they open another register on the other side.  The staff can be seen just walking around and pretending they don't see the customers, plus everyone seems to be in slow mode.  I am normally in a fast mode and can get impatient waiting on such a long line that I find myself just leaving.  I really think the store can save customers if they have self check outs.

  7. I think the only reason to go here is that it's open all night. The store did have what I was looking for, but it took me a while to figure out where it lived, because the store configuration is terrible.
