  1. Not only is there fresh food and baked goods (both Kosher and non Kosher) they have now added music.  Two weeks ago there was a concert by a local band the Traveling Jewburys and this week coming Tom Chapin is coming and will perform with local children

  2. The farmers market was a great idea and I know everyone loves it. From the tomato juice to the apple cider donuts everything rocks. Though the lemonade is a little pricey it's a great way to show other people what you know that your farm is worth. I really recommend the pickles they rock. And the jewelry. Garage sales… Ugh….. It makes you feel at home.

  3. This market had fresh vegetables and fruit, it had my favorite French organic bakery, Bread Alone, and a nice fresh pastured egg stand. The eggs are from pastured chickens that are not fed GMO, and for $4 dollars a dozen, its a great deal. This market is seasonal, it ends sometime in November.

  4. Yay for farmer's markets! Embarrassed to say that I have been living in Riverdale for almost 9 years, but I only went to this market for the first time 2 weeks ago.

The market runs from mid-May thru November, every Sunday, from 9 to 2.

Goods include: fresh fruit & veggies, fresh eggs, fresh yogurt & milk, cheese, baked goods, jewelry, local meats & more.

It was a little quiet when I went, hoping / thinking it will get busier as the summer continues. I got some fresh eggs & spinach (PS. Did you KNOW how much work it is to de-stem fresh spinach?! But SO worth it!)

    Tips:
    – Some stalls accept credit cards, but most are cash only, so plan to have some on you.
    – Also, if you want to fit in, bring a re-usable bag. I forgot mine when I went and I felt like a loser!
