  1. Disgusting. Not pizza. Needs to close. Run incidentally by Chinese people who are also selling cheap-o trinkets, cheap-o and probably not very good gloves and hats, and bamboo plants, completely random-a** crap you'd not expect to find in a pizza place. The weirdest element is that in the back, they have this weird glass case that has pictures of some family of people (doesn't look like the Chinese employees') and there are two t-shirts hanging in the back that have "in loving memory of" some other random person printed on them. Very odd and not good food. Very sad for an already afflicted and sad-state formerly glorious train station and upscale shopping center which has fallen into ruin. I can't wait for this development project to happen.

  2. After finishing a big Classic Smash down the road at Smashburger last night, I still felt hungry; I didn't eat breakfast or lunch, so you could guess why.

Considering that I haven't had pizza in a while, I drove 2 minutes down the road and stopped by Roberto's Pizza for a couple of slices and three garlic knots. You have to walk inside the plaza to get to the pizza place — it's right across from Pathmark.

The area is pretty shady at night; there were a handful of guys just hanging around outside and watching everyone who walks in and out. That's why I didn't whip out my phone to check-in on the Yelp app. As for the pizza place itself, you'll see it right away from all the bright lights they have. The pizza is displayed on the tray, along with their garlic knots, chicken rolls, and other items.

I ordered a slice of vegetable and a slice of cheese pizza. The dough was pretty soft and the crust was a bit crispy since the owner heated it in the oven again for about 5 minutes. Of the two, I would probably buy a slice of vegetable if I ever come back. The ingredients were fresh and covered the entire slice; very generous with the toppings. It had mushrooms, various bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions. On the other hand, the cheese was probably my least favorite. I thought the sauce had an after-taste that didn't blend well with the type of cheese they used.

Roberto's Pizza also sells gyros, burgers, hotdogs, noodles with egg, calzones, and chicken among other things. It's pretty similar to the New York Fried Chicken branches, but sells mainly pizza instead.
