  1. Roberts is a convenient spot to stop in for a slice in  between classes. The plain slices are generously sized and decent in taste. I also enjoy the vodka sauce and chicken slice.

What this place lacks is a full menu, there isn't very much to choose from and the specialty slices are usually the same day in and day out. Secondly, it's pretty pricy at over 3 dollars per speciality slice.

Lastly one of my huge complaints is having a minimum charge to use plastic, seriously? I don't like to carry cash around and there is no way that I'm paying 3 dollars for an atm fee.  It's 2013 suck it up and pay the small transaction fee to process a credit card, I know the students would definitely be grateful.

  2. Food is okay but overpriced!  This is fast food so they need to start charging fast food prices.  It gets packed early when kids are in school.

  3. Really friendly staff! Good pizza and happy that they carry some halal options (add chicken to a slice basically).

It's also a reliable pizza caterer for our events at the law school. Just make sure you have it within 15 minutes of delivery- pizza cold will not give you the full enjoyment factor.

  4. Is the pizza great? Not really. But the sandwiches really hit the spot! Their chicken salad is also amazing. It's PACKED with tons of different veggies and a generous portion of grilled chicken and a side of bread and butter. So take it for what it is, a quick spot to grab a bite.

  5. Could it be that I am getting jaded from this pizza place already?

I have been on the fence with giving this place three or four stars.

The pizza is good.  I like the tomato sauce on it and the crust is good.  The price is awesome, two slices will set me back about five dollars and is just the right amount of food for lunch.  Some of the toppings are pretty creative, they have sweet peppers and onion pizza, that's like cheesesteak pizza minus the steak.

The sandwiches are pretty good, the fries were memorable, service can be a bit brusque at times.

  6. Full disclosure-this review is based solely on ONE slice of pizza so I am sure I am going to re-review at some point in the near future.

Stopped in at about noon recently to get a quick bite and just ordered a slice to go. I was in and out in less than three minutes.

    "HI!  Can I help you?"

"Yeah, can I get one slice to go?"

"Sure. That's $2"  Turns and tosses an already warm slice in the oven…waits about 60 seconds, takes it out, bags it and says "Have a great day!"

"You too"  and I walk out the door.

Got in my car and dove into my slice…it tasted good, I liked the cheese and the sauce was ok, but I didn't like the crust…but I can't find the words to explain 'why' other than it was missing something-didn't add any flavor to the slice.

Counter staff was friendly, place looked pretty clean, there were a bunch of people sitting at tables eating, but the slice didn't bowl me over.  I will definitely give them another shot…too many good reviews to not try again_going back soon!

  7. If you love Baked Ziti, Robert's is the place to get it.  The pasta is great. The sauce has a nice fresh tomato taste. You'll get a nice piece of fresh bread on the side. The pizza is okay. It's a little too garlicky for me.
    Customer service is very good.

  8. This was a nice small pizzeria.  The staff was friendly and delivered my food to the table when it was ready.  My order was ready quickly.

I just ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza ($5?).

The crust was very thin and they were light on the tomato sauce.  The size of the slices were acceptable.  I enjoyed the sauce and the pizza was cooked to my liking.  The cheese was just right and there was plenty of pepperoni slices.

Will I go back? Yeah, sure.
