  1. Food: 4 stars
    Service: 2 Stars

The food here i think is good and relatively fair priced compared to the other diners in the area. I like to go here because there is rarely a wait.

That being said i went with a group of 4 people and it felt like 15 minutes had gone by before the waitress (there were only about 6 other tables filled at the time) came by to take our drink order.

Overall i love their chocolate and peanut butter chip pancakes because i will forever be 4 years old.

  2. This diner is very small though there's a ton of parking spaces. I would avoid going here on weekends completely because I can only imagine how claustrophobic it would be.

The staff was friendly and unlike many north-eastern diners, none of them had a chip on their shoulders. Everyone smiled and got along with each other. I felt like I was in another dimension. IS THIS REALLY NEW JERSEY?

Prices were a tiny bit over priced compared to some of the upstate New York diners I frequent but the food was good. The turkey sausage wasn't greasy or burned. I had an issue with my over easy eggs, though. The yolk was cooked for too long and had a gelatinous dark ring around a tiny bit of liquid yolk that spilled out. I like my yolk completely liquidy so I can mix it with other food, like sausage, homefries, or waffles, etc. My friend (who is a New Jerseyian) preferred it this way, so maybe it's a Jersey thing. I kid, I kid.

Why I was billed an extra $1.50 for a handful of mini chocolate chips on my waffle is beyond me.

This diner is good for what it is if you're local or passing by, but it's certainly not a place to go out of your way to visit like most American diners.

  3. Dropped my car off for service nearby and walked over to this diner.  It reminds me of what diners were when I was younger – before diners in the area were faced with incredible competition to set themselves apart by offering chef specialties, trendy fare and ever expanding construction to seat thousands of patrons at a time.

This is a small, honest to goodness, local diner that is no larger than a double-wide trailer.

Had a tasty omelette with mozzarella and sausage with coffee and OJ. Delicious!  I asked for my home fries well done (crunch!) and I got them well done. Bravo.

Friendly staff and feels like a family operation.  Looks like they had decent amount of business this Saturday morning so good for them !  I wish them luck in the crowded North Jersey diner business.

Give 'em a try if you're in the area.

  4. Visit often for breakfast. We have a breakfast club that visits the first Saturday of each month and they are pleasant and accommodate the group which can run from 6 people up to 20. They let us out the tables together and then bombard them with a huge order. I have not eaten any other meals, just breakfast food   For that and their service they get 4 stars
