Rosario’s Pizza

“I'm quite disappointed that this place is not listed in the Not for Tourists Guide – it is by far my favorite pizza joint in Manhattan.”

“Within those same few years, and to the delight of his supporters, Sal managed to reopen Rosario's around the block on the corner of Orchard and Stanton.”

  1. It's a great slice.  If you're looking for a great NY slice, there is nothing wrong with Rosario's.

  2. One of the better slices I've had in New York. Plus, you get the feeling that this place has been around a long time (which it has).

Greasy, fast and hot. The crust is really good and matches up with the rest of the slice well. A fitting end to the pizza.

$2.50 for a slice of cheese.

    Pretty darn authentic

  3. Worst pizza ever and will not let patrons use the restroom.

The owner is a very mean man and does not respect paying customers. I will never come back to this pizza place. Bottom line – stay away

  4. Yummy late night pizza place. Not a huge selection on the counter, but it is a Sun night post-blizzard! Would definitely visit again.

  5. Dam good pizza on Orchard, sober or drunk, their regular slice of pizza has always been one of my favorite slices in NYC for years. At $2.50 a slice, it's still a bargain.

  6. As my friends and I were drunkenly stumbling around the area, all I could dream about was pizza and then I saw Rosario's. I got a slice of mushroom and I don't know what it was about it, but memories of my childhood came flooding back to me of eating pizza. It was crispy and cheesy and tasted great!! Definitely would go back even sober during the day!

  7. Solid cheese slice. Definitely an old school pizza joint, so that's a plus in my book. Before the trendy lower east side, there was Rosario's. Nuff said.

  8. Doughy, limp, greasy pizza. Not a fan.
