  1. Had Erica as a server
Never been fond of the food at the Ruby Tuesdays chain but I liked this particular servers attitude, she's very friendly and attentive.
I over tipped her cause I appreciated her servic
    I recommend

    Salad bar was clean
    Floors were clean
    Food and drinks served promptly

  2. Great lunch! My waitress was super friendly and attentive, and all the food came out quickly.

The biscuits are the bomb dot com. If you like Red Lobster's biscuits, Ruby Tuesday's biscuits are mini versions.

Had my Creole Trio with sides of steamed broccoli and grilled zucchini and loved it all.

  3. I've always liked Ruby Tuesdays because there are one of the few casual dining chains that still have a salad bar.  It sort of takes me back to the days when I used to love going to Sizzler etc.

This particular location is decent because of its location in Garden State Plaza.  It's nice to see this place still around after all these years.  Generally I thought the food was okay and the salad bar was dependable as usual.

The service here is decent.  The folks were all very friendly and helpful.  The only two issues I found were that the seats here were all pretty tight.  I'm not that particularly big but even I found it to be a bit tight.  The other thing is that this place has a really dark ambiance and the floors felt sticky at places.  It wasn't exactly the most relaxing dining atmosphere, but hopefully this can change.

If you don't mind the above and are just focusing on the food and drink (or sitting outside of the restaurant) then you should be alright.  Personally I like dining here because I enjoy the salad bar and the relatively friendly service.

  4. Hurts me to have to update this review. I really like coming here after shopping at the mall. The last few times I have been here I have had problems. Today my daughter ordered a simple mozzarella sticks. Sadly the order took forever to come out and when it did the garnish leaf was nasty looking; wilted and browning. The staff tried to insist it was because the food was left under the heat lamp too long. I am tired of excuses at this place and I am reducing my rating to the lowest possible 1 star. The manager rich came out so I could voice my disappointment with the restaurant, but I am done with this place.

After reviewing my bill – the manager Rich removed the charge for both of the kids Mozzarella Sticks. My server 1075 Samant J was nice.

  5. Oh Ruby's.

First, I don't turn down $5 happy hour. So you can make your own inferences there. But if you're still confused – it's a decent deal. $5 drinks (most) and $5 apps (most). I'm all over it.
The shrimp and cheese dip is AHHHHMAZING. I mean, just order $20 worth and then just show up at a party somewhere. Yeah, that good.

This particular one is located in GSP and it's decent sized. They even have "outdoor" seating. Which I think is kind of weird because, well, you're in a mall. It's just weird to me.

I've never had any issues with their salad bar and if I'm there for reasons other than $5 drinks I take advantage of it.

The bartenders are really great. They stay on top of you and will chat but not to the point where you regret sitting down.

  6. Rating – 3.5

    Food 4*
i had a rotisserie chicken with mash potatoes and vegetables.  The chicken was cooked perfect , nice seasoned . Also, the mashed potatoes were delicious.

    Drinks 2*
The margarita tasted more like a lemonade with really bad tequila in it… yuck

    Service:
nice staff, the food came out quickly

  7. Been coming here since i was 13 when i'm in the mall shopping., I am 28 now.. I never really ordered a main entree nothing more then like a burger or some type of pub food like that.. lIke i've never had a steak of fish dish from there… I am more about their salad bar, apps and drinks… I always get the salad bar when I'm here, i just love it.. The prices are also pretty good for the amount of food that you get… The bar food specials are great i think they had $2 sliders and $1 tacos last time I was there.. All in all pretty good for a snack during your shopping trip…. Ask for Steve he is a great waiter there!

  8. Whenever we have a project for a new store at Garden State Plaza, we stop in for a beer or lunch at Ruby Tuesday. During the day there is almost always room at the bar and the bar tenders are always friendly. A staple I used to love is no longer on the menu but still available is the "typhoon shrimp". In my humble and most accurate opinion- It was better before. The spinach and artichoke dip is good and consistent. Overall, the experience has always been good- just that… good. I'm told their burgers are good but cannot comment personally, as I don't eat red meat.
