The one clean, affordable deli in this area (at least in my limited experience comparing other places nearby). They also put in special effort & seem to be good with regulars as I saw conversations between the staff and some of them. Food was okay. I'd go back if I were in the area.
Let's face it: with the exception of Capital Grille/Morton's, this area of town is actually a food wasteland. (Oh, sorry I insulted you Subway fans.) But if you're looking for a quick sandwich or something, you could do worse than here. It's certainly not great and the aesthetic of the food bar leaves a lot to be desired (one exception is the pastry selection, which looks fantastic). It's your best option, though, if you want to avoid the 'diner' across the street or the fly-ridden 24-hour deli/buffet right next to it.
The B&W cookie had a lemon taste to it, odd but good. My daughter had a piece of cake and enjoyed it. I would go back for sure. I get a "family owned" feel so that makes it even more likely I go back.
