This is one of my go-to work lunch spots, and it never disappoints. Delicious home-style Puerto-Rican food that is tasty, flavorful, and authentic.
I often get their lunch special, which is a huge portion of food, easily enough for two meals. Their pernil (pulled pork) is ridiculously tasty, full of good meat with some fatty pieces, wonderful spices and tons of flavor. That with some rice and beans, and a side of maduros, and I am in my Puerto-Rican food coma for hours. Sorry not sorry, job.
Staff are helpful and friendly. Food takes a little long to come out but definitely worth the wait. I've also eaten in the restaurant itself – small space, but cozy and comfortable. If you're looking for a delicious Puerto-Rican experience in East Harlem, this is the place to be!
