“I wouldn't say I'm a pho expert but I have been to almost all the pho spots in Bergen County and this wins the gold.”
“Their shrimp summer rolls were average, I would say a bit pricy for 4 pieces.”

This is my to-go place whenever I want to have a bowl of pho. It's very close to my place and location is convenient. Restaurant is right in the corner of fort lee municipal parking lot.
Dining area is very spacey and clean. Actually it's kinda rare to see the restaurant with good space in fort lee area. But this restaurant definitely has that.
Service is always great. Whenever I go, I always feel welcomed. Food comes out fast and always delicious.
I tried their pho, shaken beef, roasted duck, spring rolls.. Etc. They are all good. But still Pho is their highlight. Never get disappointed. I cannot say they are the best Vietnamese restaurant but they are one of my favorite Vietnamese place. Don't forget. It's BYOB.
Location is convenient and has ample parking (municipal lot) which is a plus. For the most part, food was quite authentic and delicious. Ordered summer roll, beef combo pho, beef pho & pad thai.
Both order of Pho was good but felt a little skimp on the sliced meat. They forgot to provide extra cilantro that we asked for…
Pad thai & summer roll was pretty standard.
Great service and nice atmosphere.
I discovered Saigon Kitchen within the past year and since then, I always come here to fulfill my pho needs. There are definitely fewer pho options here than at your more ethnically Vietnamese pho restaurant, but it's one of the best places in the area for when you just need some pho!
I always get the beef pho and it comes out pretty quickly with all the accompanying vegetables. The broth is delicious and there's enough noodles, but it is a little skimpy on the meat. The overall portion size is good and I leave satisfied after each meal.
I'm not a huge fan of the non-pho offerings here. The fried spring rolls are on the smaller side and have more wrapper than filling. The one time I did order a meat and rice dish, I thought the portion size was a bit too small.
Service is really great. My tea cup never goes empty and there's always at least one waiter in view for you to call over.
The Story: I am happy to say I found my new pho place! This place is way better than the local Pho 32 down the street. Came here with a group of friends on Black Friday because well… no one had work.
Food:
I ordered the seafood pho and a thai iced tea. My group also ordered appetizers such as the beef stick and dumplings. I enjoyed the dumplings a lot. While they did not have a 'large' option for the pho – the seafood pho was delicious. They have some non-pho entrees but I did not get around to try them. I will next time!
Decor: This use to be a Korean/Chinese restaurant if I remember correctly. The dining room is extremely spacious and clean. They have 2 entrances as well.
Price: I feel the appetizers are a little over priced for the amount you get. Pho was a extremely good deal, I got my bowl for $12.
Service:Extremely attentive service. Very un-"asian" like. Water was filled without asking, napkins replaced, gave out forks without asking, dishes removed from lazy susan when finished. Overall great service.
Parking & Finding the Place: Located on Center Avenue by Batten Ramen. There is a municipal parking in the back. Lots of parking.
Additional Thoughts/Tips: Nothing else to say besides that i'll come back soon!
Growing up near the "Little Saigon" neighborhood of South Philly, I was pretty much spoiled by the presence of pho mecca throughout my teenage years. Pho was our go-to hangout by default every time we had early dismissals from school or just at any given time, really. It was inexpensive, and one portion was technically shareable by 2 due to the rather huge size of the bowl. After my move to Bergen County, I found myself constantly in a quest of the good pho and Vietnamese food like the ones back home. Upon my first dinner at Saigon Kitchen, I can finally end my two years and nine months search for a go-to Vietnamese & pho spot.
Saigon Kitchen is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking in the rear. There's a music studio above it and I could hear a very nice opera quartet practicing upstairs. For appetizers, we started off with the classic Vietnamese salad and summer rolls which were so refreshingly good. For entrees, we ordered a bowl of beef ball pho (say it quick 10 times lol) and crab fried rice. The beef ball pho really hit on the spot and met my expectations. The crab fried rice actually transported me back to the time when I was a broke exchange student crashing at a friend's house in Ho Chi Minh city. Her mom would cook us fried rice for breakfast and this is how exactly it tasted like!
Even though the price is a bit pricier than what it typically is back home, it's totally worth it!
….and I just ate my first Pho. I know l, I know, I am crazy for never experiencing its goodness. But I can finally say I did. And it was gooooood!
I came here for a late birthday lunch with my family. It was clean, cute, and fairly spacious. I could say that this place is great for large families, as there are different ranges of booths, tables, and semi-family rooms to fit everyone's needs. I got Thai Iced Tea and it was good! The tea itself had a strong and bold flavor, compared to other ones I have tried. I ordered their Saigon Classic Pho with beef. It was reasonably priced and was a pretty big portion! Unless Pho is typically that size… The broth was delicious. I added some basil, bean sprouts, and peppers and it was good. No complaints on my first Pho!
Service here was attentive and quick. I didn't have a problem with anything whatsoever. I would definitely come back.
I am debating between 3 stars or 4 stars for this place… Service was quick and our waiter was very attentive. However, food is mediocre. My friend and I ordered crispy fried rolls, lemongrass pho and chicken pho.
– Crispy fried rolls were a big disappointment. There was too much wrapper and too little filing. The outer layer of the wrapper was crispy but a bit hard, and the inner layer was extremely chewy.
– My lemongrass pho was extremely oily and had a lot of raw onion in it. I am not sure where the cook got the idea of putting a lot of raw onion to pho from, but it is definitely not the way pho should be, and it does not make pho taste good
– My friend's chicken pho was just too plain..
It was one of those rainy days in NJ and needed some comforting food. This pho spot ranked top places to eat for Pho so we decided to check it out one night. It was a Wednesday night, around 7:30 and maybe a couple tables were seated so it was nice that we didn't have to wait. We ordered the duck spring rolls (pretty good, sauce is good but it tastes like peanut sauce with hoisin). Beef pho was Amazing! You can just tell when you try a gooood broth. Just the right amount of meat and noodle ratio. I never finish a bowl of pho and this time I did! The service is outstanding, I should add that the gentleman with glasses in particular makes sure you are satisfied with your food. He mentioned that you can actually order a pho with spicy broth if you want so I'll be doing that next time!
