Sushi is really good, very fresh unlike some places. The atmosphere in the restaurant is small and cozy, I like to go for lunch, or off times to avoid a packed house. It's cute inside, and in my experience the wait staff are friendly. The appetizers are all tasty, teriyaki is good, and the tempura is perfectly done. My current favorite is the chicken katsu don, so good. The delivery is pretty quick too. They could replace the wood doors damaged during Sandy, they look a little grimy.
the sushi is ok. the prices are ok. but thats about it. everything is just ok. nothing to rave about and i definitely have a benchmark when it comes to sushi in terms of quality and price. they couldnt reach the benchmark so they only get 3 stars. its a neighborhood restaurant but it never really seems to be too full which is not good for sushi since the more people, the fresher the sushi!
Great Sushi and awesome staff. I even order take out from here, Love it! The sushi is fresh, and the staff takes the time to joke around with you. The remember me when I come there, and pretty much get me the chili pepper for my miso soup every time, now that's what I call a great establishment. You should make time to remember your regulars. All and all good sushi experience.
Not much to say about this place. I ordered take out from them for my wife and I but felt the quantity of fish was small in the rolls. I was not a fan of the rice they use for sushi also. i will most likely not order from here again.
I ordered a dinner special to go. For about $15, I received three different handrolls and miso soup. There were six pieces per each handroll. The pieces were a bit small, yet the quality was good.
The service was pretty quick. My takeout order was ready in about 15 minutes. Overall, I'd rate my experience 3.5 stars if I could.
