“Sakura's quality is impeccable and the delivery people are very nice”
“Serviceable enough, but they all kind of run together, and until we tried Sakura we were fine with the perfectly okay Tawara in Ramsey.”

Great sushi lunch specials! Can choose two or three regular rolls and either comes with soup and salad. The soup is always hot and fresh and the salad is a large plate with an extremely generous amount of ginger dressing on the side.
The rolls always taste fresh and warm and they have brown rice! Their special rolls all look delicious and I would probably give this review 5 stars if I had one, but they're very pricy.
Clean place with friendly staff. Quick service. Pretty small parking lot.
We ordered delivery and everything arrived as ordered – about 20 minutes late, but at least it was fresh, hot and accurate.
The sashimi and sushi was good – not the best I've ever had, but fresh and well prepared. The sashimi trio was huge too – much more than I bargained for. Miso soup was okay, but the clear soup was horrible (tasteless warm brown water with a couple shaved button mushrooms floating on top).
Pricey!
Stopped in for lunch with some clients.
Ordered the tuna Carpaccio, seaweed salad, miso soup and volcano roll.
The soup was excellent and had a creamy texture. The type of Miso paste they used did not taste like one I have had before. Seaweed salad was your standard, pre-made affair that everyone has.
The Carpaccio was excellent with jalapeno slices on top with a yuzu dressing. The volcano roll was huge and quite good. The spicy sauce was slightly different than elsewhere and it was topped with a Japanese powder which added another layer of taste.
Service was good and the restaurant was clean and well lit. Only drawback was their parking lot is tiny.
Recommended if you are in the area.
I wanted to try a new sushi place, so I chose this place as a convenient pick-up spot on my drive home from work. My husband likes the fancy rolls with sauces and fried stuff, which is sometimes hard to find, but Sakura has a good selection. I ordered the Dynamite for him and the restaurant was happy to accommodate his "no avocado" request. My usual order is the sushi deluxe, which comes with a spicy tuna roll. The sushi place closest to my house charges extra to "upgrade" to spicy tuna from regular tuna, so this is a plus for me. My meal came with miso soup and a salad, both quite good. I got a clear soup for the hubs, of which he approved. Service was great–I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door. My order was ready and sitting at the host(ess) stand, and both people at the stand were polite and said thank you as I left. Will go again!
Very expensive, weird service
But good quality.
We came here for a snack, I ordered the sunomono, it was more like a ceviche, really small pieces of fish mixed together, tasty but sitting in a pool of sauce. The crab salad was good, good flavors.
Some of the rolls were upwards of $20 which sounds ridiculous. I just don't understand the pricing for the style of Japanese Fusion.
It was almost packed on a Sunday afternoon, so some people like it here.
