Pretty simple, as it just opened though I did overhear someone (maybe the boss) say they'd be expanding the menu soon. So for right now, you can get beef, chicken, shrimp, and any combination except beef + chicken. Comes over rice or noodles. Not the greatest food, but it'll fill you up. Not too greasy either, which is good. They were giving out samples of the chicken, but I had the beef over rice instead and it just wasn't that appetizing. Maybe I'll come back when things are settled and they get their act together.
Teriyaki cooked fast, served hot! Come find them inside the Fei Long Food Court. Definitely cheap for the large portion which includes lots of meat. I usually get the chicken with lo mein, flavorful and cooked perfectly on the flat top. The veggies are bland so I would just skip out on that. Otherwise, the sushi and everything else is decent, worth a shot.
My mom and I love Sakura Teriyaki Express! It's a must-get every time we go to 8th Ave since it's a cheap, filling, and delicious meal! The cooks/servers there are really nice and give really generous portions! They cook the meat/rice right in front of you so you know it's freshly made yay!
My favorite dish definitely has to be the Chicken Teriyaki over rice. The chicken is grilled perfectly and is drenched in the delicious teriyaki sauce! I also like how the rice is slightly undercooked (slightly wet/soft). The shredded cabbage however was kind of bland if you don't mix some of the teriyaki sauce with it. I would recommend getting the chicken over the beef because the beef was kind of dry in my opinion. Also, the pork chop option is HUGE but wasn't as flavorful as the chicken. Although you might find a few fatty pieces in the pork chop that make it DELICIOUS!
Overall, if you're looking for something delicious, filling, and won't break your wallet, definitely try out Sakura Teriyaki Express if you're in the 8th Ave area!
