BEST PIZZA EVER. I have been going here for 20 years. Its just has such great pizza hands down!

Sal's Pizzeria is excellent. My family has been going here for years and it's absolutely one of the best around. Growing up, I remember my Dad calling on his way home from work letting us know he picked up Sal's and how excited we were! They have excellent Sicilian slices and regular slices. The Sicilian has crispy, thick crust and the sauce on the Sicilian and regular is out of this world. I can't stand when I get a slice with bad sauce! Affordable, delicious and CONSISTENT. Absolutely no complaints.
Great pizza and delivered on time. Friendly service. The pizza tasted fresh and the base seemed to be hand made. All round good.

Thanks Yelpers. I was hungry and your reviews led me here. I got "one and one" – 1 plain and 1 Sicilian. I really liked the regular slice. Goeey and a bit oily with lots of flavor. The Sicilian (square) slice was good but too much dough for me. My favorite Sicilian slice is at Rose's in Garfield, NJ. If you're ever in that area, I urge you to stop in and give 'em a try.
Sal's looks like it's been around for a long time and everyone behind the counter was friendly. Definitely had a great neighborhood vibe.
Sal's holds a special part of my childhood memories, and continues to deliver (no pun intended). After school and before dance class, our moms would take me and my dance-class mates to grab a bite… and Sal's was the go-to for pizza. Always fresh and consistently delicious – Sal's pizza is classic North Jersey style goodness. Not too thin, not too thick, and with a sauce that's just the right consistency, I have yet to have a bad experience with a pie or slice from Sal's (and considering I've been eating the stuff since I was a toddler, that's a pretty solid record!).
The rest of the menu is great as well — we usually order up some mussels alongside the pie… because who doesn't like dipping crisp crust into a flavorful, tangy, spicy red sauce? Terrorists. People who hate puppies. Evil doers. THAT's who. The meatball parm sandwich is my grandpa's favorite, and the man is picky about his food. I could go on, but you get the idea.
Delivery is dependable and speedy (Presto could learn something from them about timely delivery), and the prices are right. Sal's is a winner all around!

The gent that delivered our food on Sunday 3/23 around 2pm, he's a for sure keeper on your team. Great, friendly service and even with a non working doorbell and an unmarked apartment door, he found me and delivered with a smile.
Our pizza arrived in a little over 30min. Hot, and delicious. And a nod worthy mention that we ate it throughout the night at room temp and it was still tasty as can be. We also ordered a meatball sub and it was smokin' and the meatballs on the sub were huge!
Price point was on par with other Sal's type jawns in the area. Will totally be ordering from here again.
