First time having Pho so i can't compare to any other restaurant but for what it was I really enjoyed it , it was very tasty and packed with meats and vegetables
Its located in a small little shopping plaza off of Huguenot Avenue by Amboy Road if you blink you might miss it , its located right in the back right corner of the shopping plaza opposite Ralphs ices
Even though it looks small from outside it's actually a decent size restaurant , its very clean and has a nice Ambiance inside .
The manager and the rest of the staff were all smiles and very kind , prices we're very fair considering the portion size.
Like Arnold, I'LL BE BACK haha
I was siked that a Vietnamese restaurant finally opened in my neighborhood. And that would be a great alternative to traveling to Brooklyn or Manhattan for solid traditional Viet food. The fried chicken wings and green papaya salad were much better than the bland pho. Overall food is mediocre in comparison and pricier than what I expect from a lowkey Viet restaurant in NY. There's definitely room for improvement and I think they will be more successful if they can work out these kinks. But for now, unless I'm craving for specific menu items I wouldn't mind a trip into Brooklyn for a hearty bowl of $8 pho.
Was glad to see pho making its way to the south shore of Staten island but this place has a long way to go.
The restaurant itself is very spacious and cute decor. A bamboo wall seperates the kitchen from the dining area is a nice touch.
Their beef soup is lacking some serious flavor. They do not serve it with tripe or ligaments which is a serious bummer (that's where the flavor is, come on! )
Summer roll are really good. Good flavor and a generously sized.
Biggest pet peeve: do not ask a customer who is obviously still eating- mid chew if they want their check !
Love that there's a new Vietnamese restaurant on the south side of Staten Island. I didn't expect much based on the storefront but there's plenty of seating and it's well designed. Super clean.
Food was solid–definitely recommend the mango salad! Also loved the beef pho soup.
The service seemed like it could use a bit of work. The servers were friendly but seemed new to the job. For example, my mom and I shared the mango salad but it came with one fork and they didn't give us any extra plates. Instant mess. Nevertheless, still worth checking out!!
