The food is nothing to go crazy about, you can have better elsewhere. It's Chinese and Spanish food menu. It's not bad but it isn't the best. The service is . I usually order drinks to go. The wings are great though!

Chinese & Spanish food, thats a great mix knowing that both the rices from each heritage are fried down to the meats and dough!

Place is pretty big and much nicer inside then outside. They make really good drinks and nice and strong depending on what you get. Pretty big drinks with nice floral decorations in it.

Food is pretty cheap and good and comes in big plates so you might wanna share with someone else especially the rice and noodles.

I would come back to this plate if I wanna eat bad and just enjoy a cheap enjoyable meal and have a nice drink on the side, Its a nice food spot for the Clinton Hill area and theres also a college close by so its good for those college gives trying to scrape there coins and dollars for a meal which you def. can take extra home thats how much they give you.

Honestly, this has to be one of the best restaurants for what it is– Chinese & Spanish food. It's more like a diner than a take-out/sit-in place, and I really like the warm tropic-like design. The staff is amiable. They're pretty lenient with people who are picky with their food. It was really upsetting that they closed down for a while, I have yet to find another place that matches up to it.

Delivery speed is pretty decent. I mean, don't expect them to be right at your door the moment they finish cooking the food, especially during their high times in the evening (during dinner). But I haven't have any complaints. And they deliver REALLY late (around 1-2am) so it's great! Another upside! They do charge a delivery fee, but compared to other places that delivers by bike, they deliver by car, so they probably need to pay for gas… so i'm not complaining; hey, whatever, as long as my food comes at a reasonable time!)

Overall, I have no complaints and nothing but praise for this place!

I LOVE their chicken wings, and here are some things you MUST try:

Broil Filet of Fish w/ Jumbo Shrimp
Roasted Chicken (1/2 chicken w/ salad & vegetable fried rice)
    Beef Steak/Chicken Steak (So YumYum~)
    Fried Scallops!!!!

There's only one downside though… I go to school in NJ now, and they're most definitely not going to deliver here 🙁 I guess I'll have to settle for Noodle Gourmet… Sigh…

I found a bug in my food. It was disgusting. Definitely WON'T be ordering from Sapolo. GROSS

I came here hoping for a better than average Chinese food experience. The food was OK, nothing super special or overly impressive. The staff was OK, just ok really. I do enjoy their blue Hawaiin drink which is on the money! Price was fair, décor was ok, everything just ok. The problem for this spot and if you really think about it they have been there for years anyways is the fact that Kum Kau is near and their food is much more superior so I'm surprised they have lasted so long considering that.
I don't imagine really coming back unless I'm getting a drink and maybe, just maybe I'll give it another try at dinner.

For what the restaurant protrays themselves as they are kings in the field. Interesting me u (Spanish/Chinese). Pretty cool atmosphere, I was actually shocked on how nice it was when you step inside.
Awesome menu, they have a lot. Unlike other reviews questioning their quality, I found the quality surprisingly good. Also, if you are looking to eat clean they have many clean healthy options.
I do not live in Brooklyn, but I will be sure to check it out more frequently when I visit.

I like Sapolo. I like how they don't pretend to be anything that they're not and they're killing the game. They're like the Rihanna of Chinese food spots in Clinton Hill. Come here if you're really in the mood for some good food, not too expensive, no weird frills or LCD menus *cough cough @ Kum Kau* and good service.

I ordered a small veggie soup and General Tso's tofu and both were really delicious and filling. My order came to around $8, which is solid. Fuck yes, Sapolo.

Seriously getting your Chinese fried chicken and arroz con gandules can happen here. IDK if you should but if you really need at the same time here is the spot.

When I lived in the area I would get the vegetable fried rice and wings fried extra hard (I'm from brooklyn & black…LOL). It would hit that craving for me . The service is pretty fast whether eating in or taking out.  They all have a bar people….yeah!!!

So if you got a graving for lo mein and platano maduro come here.
