  1. First time here and we had a very good experience.  5 meals.  All were well prepared, served promptly and hot.  The waiter was attentive and polite.  My daughter loved her gyro.  We would absolutely go back again.

  2. This is the second time I have tried a diner in the nassau border and I am starting to think the best diners are hands down all in queens.

First off the parking lot is SUPER tight! Its a disaster coming here during popular time like brunch. We even saw a woman hit a car in the lot!

Anyway, our hostess was just there. No emotion, just business, kinda rude. And if you come for brunch on a Sunday, they only serve you the breakfast menu. Odd because its brunch, I want the lunch portion of the menu too. So you may have to ask for that. (We did).

The food was basic and bland. The homefries barely had any seasoning and were soggy. The turkey sausage is a sausage/kelbasa type, not a turkey sausage patty. Between the parking, the service and food being bland and mediocre. Ill stick to Queens for my go to diners. I wouldn't recommend this place.

  3. Had a good breakfast here on a Sunday morning when it was really busy. My order was taken right away and I didn't have to wait long for breakfast to be served. They made a hearty broccoli omelette with home fries. The waitstaff constantly circulated making sure we had enough coffee and water. Next time I go, I would love to try the Greek yogurt waffle. It just sounds like it tastes good. Something to look forward to….

  4. Expensive? Yes.

Let's get that out of the way. They just renovated. They weren't cheap before and they raised prices after. But go there and the place is always jumping.

    Why?

Because the food is reliable. The place is nicely decorated and it's close to the Miracle Mile shopping. After you've been there, this place is cheap.

But really: I go because I like the place. Chicken on a pita with fries, fresh OJ. $20. But I like it. It's a lot of food and I never finish the whole thing. Lord knows, I try.

Listen: if you're bargain hunting, stay away. Staff that calls you honey or dear? Yes, so if it bothers you, scoot. But it ain't terrible value and the food's good. Enjoy. I go a lot.

  5. Seven Seas is a great diner! I love having brunch here. Eggs and pancakes are always delicious and I love the omelette with tomatoes, feta cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. You get to make your own omelette with four toppings of your choice for $9.75 which I love. I've had better omelettes but I enjoy the ones here too. Free coffee refills woot woot. Service has always been lovely, and the atmosphere is diner-like but classy. Good for family, friends… Price is reasonable too. Usually comes out to $40-$50 for 4 people.

  6. The good: Great greek omlet,  Very good Greek dishes and decent italian meals.
The bad: servings being cut down. they do not butter the toast for you, your server rarely smiles.

  7. This place just isnt good, and thats surprising considering where it is.

Came here later at night with my dad after the Met game, was nice and quiet. I ordered a cup of the matzah ball soup and he the clam chowder soup. Neither were good, my matzah ball was weirdly cooked, and his clam chowder just wasn't remotely close to having a taste.

For meal, i was craving a monte cristo, and this one came on challah bread french toast yes please!  My dad ordered the tuna salad on english muffin.  My monte cristo was terrible, ham dry, turkey wayyyy dry, cheese was okay, and the challah bread wasnt cooked fully. Disgusting. My dads tuna salad was bland, needed salt and pepper and garlic.

Overall, this diner is horrific. Do not go here.

  8. I'm quite confused about these reviews. While this is not AMAZING food, it's very solid diner food. Their greek salad with chicken comes in an enormous portion, and their turkey dinner is actually quite good. While the breakfast isn't extraordinary, I can always trust them to make a good omelet and good pancakes when I want a splurge.

I also think their bread basket is pretty awesome when it's fresh.
