“Can you really beat an incredibly cozy bar, with incredibly delicious crepes, and with incredibly nice wine?”
“You can get organic whole wheat and regular.”
“However, to find a place in the Village with consistently good food in large portions that doesn't break the bank is special.”

I can see why this is one of Eric J's favorite bars. The atmosphere is super chill and cozy, and it attracts a really interesting crowd: couples on dates (GET A ROOM! Just kidding… Keep it PG-13), beautiful drag queens (want to swap your long legs for my stubby ones?), and friends getting post-dinner drinks. They also have crepes, both sweet and savory ones… just in case you decide you're hungry after that gin and tonic.
It's a couple notches above divey and the bathroom is nice. It's nice to be able to actually hear each other without shouting across the table, so it's perfect for swapping scandalous stories and catching up with friends. My friend got the banana and nutella (or is it banana and chocolate?) crepe. She's kind of a crepe snob, so she said it was just okay. I like that there are lots of bottles under $30 (side note to the young'ns: I always thought that I would be a more sophisticated wine drinker as I age… I have yet to reach that stage). Service was attentive and friendly.
I know Eric J threw a pretty epic birthday bash here a couple years ago, so I know you can rent out the space for a private party. The place is not that big, but there was plenty of seats available when we were here late Friday evening. Definitely a good place for a chill night out or to figure out where to go next.
Came here for late night crepe
cozy environment, nice bar
Crepes we ordered:
1. Savory – Buckwheat with salmon, spinach – the server warned us that the buckwheat might taste a little dry, but it doesn't turn out that way. i actually like this crepe a lot
2. Sweet – Nutella, Strawberry and hazelnut – I like the touch of hazelnut in the crepe, makes it crunchy – but i do not recommend this crepe since it is very very soggy
Bill came out to be $24 with tips! decent price for the huge portion
Will come back because its a great place to hang out and decent food
I've now been here 3 or 4 times. Considering I live in Melbourne Australia, I think that speaks for itself.
A cute little bar located just of bleecker st near NYU. It doesn't look much from the outside, but once you enter, you'll feel like you're home.
The bar staff are amazing! I can't stress that enough. They are cool! All my visits were the same. Amazing, attentive personable service.
If I lived in the city, this would be my local.
Ordered "take-out" with a few of my co-workers while attending a conference at NYU. There was a HUGE assortment of crepes and it was really difficult to make a decision! I thought about getting five crepes, but then I remembered that I needed to fit in a bikini this summer. Anyway, I decided on French brie, ham, and spinach. What a combo!!! Absolutely delicious and so filling. The combination of melty brie and ham, and then the crunch of the spinach was great. The person in the window was very friendly and helpful, and the crepes were made fairly quickly. I did get the feeling that the crepes were kind of greasy/oily, perhaps too much oil and butter on the griddle where they were cooking. Anyway, I would definitely stop by if I am in the area! This place is absolutely adorable. Can't wait to try eating inside!
ALERT – this is my new favorite bar in NY.
Seriously, I adore this bar. It is really intimate with very friendly service and the perfect oldies on in the background. The mixed drinks that I've tried are delicious (hello cherry martini) and the beers are cheap. Whenever I've come with my girlfriends on a Friday night we have managed to get a table not too long after arriving. Other bonuses include 2 bathrooms for the small space (no lines! yay!) and some amazing smelling crepes that I have yet to try. It's the perfect place to relax and have a drink or two or to pregame your night and I will continue to come back frequently.
Very cozy little bar / creperie. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a snack.
we initially ordered a strawberry and Nutella crepe to split amongst the three of us because we weren't sure if it would be any good and we just wanted a quick nibble as we strolled around outside in the freezing cold…but the crepe was delicious (and HUGE) and we ordered a second crepe with coconut flakes and Nutella. it was even yummier than the first one and we inhaled it in record time. sooooo satisfying!!
This is a small, relaxing spot with a great happy hour, friendly service and good drinks. I really enjoyed the old-school mix of music they were playing, and the volume was good. A nice spot in the Village to meet friends and enjoy a chat over a drink.
Was here for a glas of wine, nice place – good for a date
