  1. I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was not that crowded and thus my friend and I were seated immediately. We ordered bleary of things sushi as beef over rice, tofu over rice, and different kinds of sushi.
The food was okay. Not that bad nor something that is worth to come back for. If you're in the area, definitely try it out!
The service is good and they make the food rather quickly. It was buffet style so all the food came one after the other.

  2. This place is one of the best sushi buffets in Brooklyn. Their service is so good here. The food also come very fast. The appetizers are just like any typical sushi buffet (fried calamari, gyoza, spring roll, cheese ravioli, Kani salad.) One unique thing here that they have is the creamy "tonkatsu" miso soup. It isn't really tonkatsu. It's just miso soup with a creamer or something. When I first tried it I didn't like it due to the fact I like I my miso soup soupy and not creamy. After a few times of trying it, it tasted ok but still something I don't reccomend. The other unique thing they have here is the miso salmon. It's something I always order here. Their rolls here are also very good. The rice portion is good unlike other places where they have a lot of rice. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a decent price and sushi fix.

  3. The menu changed from when it first opened, which is depressing. The service was alright but the food was not that great. the portions of the teriyaki beef, chicken or anything was like size of half your palm. They was barely any food on the plate. The salads and rolls were alright. Everything you order came in puny sizes. The price is cheaper than most AYCE sushi restaurants but the taste is seriously behind.  The taste wasn't very flavorful. It feels very tight spaced but considering its location, it's okay. They used to serve a full squid on a plate but they took that out. That was one of the things I enjoyed. The only reason I came here was to try the actual food, and because it's really close by. If they are going to change their menu, don't change it where it cuts down the taste. It was an even bigger disappointment when my love got food poisoned from this place!

  4. I was here for dinner on Christmas Day with a party of 8, and although we had a reservation, I felt truly bad for the staff who were struggling to handle a more than full house. Orders came out slow, and we were told at one point that the owner was going to the kitchen to help cook because they were really backed up.

It's important to note how many pieces are included with each order because it will save a lot of time getting your food if you get a lot onto one menu. Each sushi from the left side menu is ONE piece, so if you order one uni, you will get a single piece of uni! (That particular menu item is also limited to 2 per person, but that means a party of 8 could theoretically get a total of 16 for just one person to eat.)

Unfortunately their gyoza (dumplings) and all their specialty sushi is not vegetarian, but the deep fried Aged Tofu is tasty (order at least 2 because the 4 pieces in an order are small) as are the tofu and avocado sushi. I normally love sweet potato (tempura) sushi but the order I had didn't seem fresh or taste very good. I highly recommend the stir-fry ramen and udon, because the soup versions come in a pretty bland broth.

The total for our family dinner came out to roughly how much we usually spend at a sushi restaurant, so it makes more sense for us personally to skip the stress of waiting for our food to come out. That being said, if you were to come on a less busy night and ordered more at a time, I can see how an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant can be fun and economical.

I did like that this restaurant does NOT put a time limit on how long you can continue to eat. We were asked if the menu we were handing the waitress was a "last call" but she retracted her request when there were no longer people waiting outside to be seated. Another waitress came by as we were waiting for the check to apologize for the long wait and gave us 2 rollout scroll calendars as Christmas gifts!

  5. Came here with a friend during lunch time. Great price for $12.75 AYCE. I'm personally not a fan of AYCE sushi because they're just mediocre fish and usually these places gives you a lot of rice. If you come here, get the stir fry udon or the seafood tonkontsu soup. It is pretty good. Although they claimed their special rolls to be special, hardly any of their rolls have fish inside. The sushi mostly consists of fake crab meat, cream cheese, tamago or cucumber." The sushi were like rice ball with thin layer of fish.

  6. Now I think we all get that freshness is not one of the priorities for all you can eat(ayce) sushi restaurants.  With that being in mind, I decided to try this spot out for an early lunch with my family.

Right when we walked in, we were "greeted" by one of the waitresses, no welcoming smile, she just grabbed the menus and seated us. The music playlist was Top 40 Hip hop/Rap, I love hip hop but I dont think it suits the sushi ambiance quite well, especially with lyrics talking about getting big booty. The decor however is consoling, I love how they stick to a woody design. The woods on the floor, matches with the tables, the walls, even the ceiling! I appreciate when restaurants take deep thought into little things like that.

Despite the off starting, we ordered our food. The sushi obviously wasnt spectacular but I like it for an ayce spot. However certain dishes got my questioning the actual description of the food. The spring rolls for example, the skin was crispy and had a perfect exterior bite to it, BUT the inside was all gooey and wet. My uncle said thats what happens when you freeze certain foods for a long time. And the crab ragoon appetizer, why is it called crab ragoon when theres no crab in it?! It was stuffed with melted cream cheese, no meat whatsoever.

The food here is edible, and is worthy of trying again. But the girls working here need some uplifting moods, their monotone face makes me feel uncomfortable to stay and relax with my family. Also the music playlist needs to change, my grandma does not need to listen to any cuss words when shes eating.

  7. Most of their rolls are either a hit or a miss but this place really isn't bad for the value you pay. Would come again for their specialty rolls (especially the sweet one, was it called lion king?) Their kani salad looked and tasted a lil different from the ones I'd usually get. i didnt enjoy it. Crab ragoons were also a miss.

  8. My fam and I came in on a Sunday at almost 2. There was one empty table left but the hostess said that it was reserved and it would be a 15-20 minute wait. So she took our  phone number and said she could call us when the next table is ready. Ok fine. So we walked around the area for about 20 minutes and still didn't get a call. We decided to just head back over and check it out. So we go back there and there were three empty tables, and she never bothered to call us. And we were seated at the same table that she said was reserved. Annoying, but alright, fine – onto the food.

You take a menu and fill out the quantity of whichever items you want.
Some items take a really long time to come out. Like half an hour or so. Which isn't really the point of an AYCE, is it?

We ordered shrimp tempura on our first menu. We already finished the food from our second menu and still no sign of the shrimp tempura from the first round. Then, the waiter brought out the kani salad and seaweed salad. I guess he forgot to mark it down because 10 minutes later, he brings out the same two dishes. So we told him we didn't want it because we already got it earlier (and never made a second order of it). And he has the nerve to ask if we're sure we got it, as if we were lying to him about it!

On the plus side, sushi seemed to come out pretty quickly. It was just the kitchen items that were a pain to order. So maybe they just need more people in the back.

Lunch is $11.95 and dinner is $19.95.
Everything was just okay but what do you expect for $12?
I wouldn't say the service is bad. I just think they need a better system of how they're keeping track of all the items. The waiters always seem like they're confused. Once they get that sorted out, I might be willing to give lunch another try.
