So I finally got to check out this shop today and they have a real nice selection of stuff. There are some Asian but no Indian markets near me so now I don't have to drive somewhere like Edison to get a special ingredient. They advertise as Indo-Asian grocer which is lacking in my area. They have a frozen section, fresh produce (including fresh turmeric which is hard to come by in my parts), a plethora of spices/seasonings, imported snacks, and huge bags of rice and beans just to name a few items they carry. Everything is fairly priced and inexpensive depending on what you get. This place isn't super huge and if it was in a town like Edison where the market is saturated with Indian shops and restaurants I would give it four stars. But since they capitalized on a viable market of Indian groceries that is somewhat nonexistent in Bergen County, I am giving them 5 stars. Some places are all about location and in a town like Lodi which is predominately Italian, it's good to mix it up a bit when Italian eats feel like they are getting stale. Will be my go to place for picking up out of the ordinary ingredients to make nice stir fries and whatever other recipes come my way!
