  1. This is a smorgasbord of Korean and Korean Chinese fare located at the H-Mart Plaza in Great Neck.  The food court has over 140 choices of different menu items and a self serve banchan bar.  Food quality is pretty good and at reasonable prices.  Seating is a bit limited but one can always manage to find a seat.  Great if you want a quick affordable bite.

  2. Love this place! Good Korean food, very clean, no tip, and best of all…free side dishes!

  3. Cheap delicious Korean food with a self serve side dish bar. Glory. Prices range for any item are around  $8-13. Self serve sides? YES.

My favorites is the jajjangmyun, and any of the tofu soups you can't really go wrong. This like one of the most underrated Korean places in queens. Parking is plentiful as its in a parking lot directly across H-Mart.

You. will. never. leave. hungry. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Song's Family Food Court. Sing a new song to the Lord. Hallelujah.

  4. Who would have thought this place existed in the area.  Huge menu with unlimited side dishes, great!  It's a bit more than other places with the same business model but worth the side dishes and clean space.  The food was pretty good, although my dduk mandoo gook with pretty bland.  Kimbapp was good and omurice looked real good.

    Check it out.

  5. Korean food court style in Great Neck Commons on the 2nd floor.

Lots of Korean dishes to choose from.  Usually order a bimbap and a stew with either seafood or short ribs.  (Dishes range from $10 – $20).

They give you a number and you wait it to be called.  While you're waiting if you're eating in and grabbed a table, you can feast on the unlimited side dishes at their salad bar first.

Side dish bar usually has kimchi, cucumbers, sometimes fish cakes, broccoli, or shredded pickled radish, and miso soup.

If you order out, they give you the side dishes in to go containers.

Parking lot is has plenty of space, which is shared by the H-mart across the street.

  6. Amazing little spot!

This place is perfect for lunch. Food here are inexpensive, place is clean and they serve generous portions. Best part of all, the side dishes are self service. Yay!

I'm glad I found it on Yelp.

  7. overall great experiences. I've only came here recently a few months back, since then i've visited maybe 4-5 times with my family. According to relatives the food used to be sub-par but its improved alot lately.

It is clean and convenient. Located across the parking lot from H Mart upstair with enough seating (i've always managed to find seats) and sells both Chinese (korean version) food (which they do not serve on monday) and also traditional Korean food which gives you plenty options to select from.

(also unlimited sides, miso soup and egg drop soup)

i'm usually not one to get ja jang myun but according to my wife and mom they say its compareable to sam won gahk. Jiam Pong is a large portion with lots of seafood. You won't find yang jang pi here but overall a nice place given the proximity.
