We ordered an XL plain cheese pie for pickup, thanks Yelp for the free 2liter soda Check-in offer! We were told the pie would be ready in 25minutes, which sounds like a long time for a pizza…and we were super hungry. Overall, the pizza was tasty…even after it's been sitting out for a while. Will be back.
In high school I worked next door so I grew up on this pizza. The pizza is always delicious and fresh. My husband is a huge fan of their shrimp parm sandwich, because not only is the bread homemade, but the shrimp are huge.
I now live far from home so when I come back to town, South Amboy Pizza is one of my favorite stops. I just wished they'd deliver to the DC area.
I always order the chicken milenese, its such a simple sandwich but for some reason only this place makes it right. Their fresh bread is amazing! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of five is that they could put a little more chicken on it.
This is not a fancy place. It is perfect if you are looking for a quick and yummy slice of pizza.
