Super souvlaki and good lunch specials. This place looks recently renovated with a Athenian decor. Lunch souvlaki plates over rice or salads run about $11.
Ate:
Chicken souvlaki over garden salad
Skewer of shrimp
Tzatziki $.85
The chicken souvlaki was super seasoned over a nice fresh salad with feta. The 3 shrimp set me back $5.50. The extra $.85 for tzarziki was annoying, but loved the Greek flavors overall.
Best Greek place I have tried and I've been going here for years. I love the people who work here because they are extremely nice. I remember coming here as a kid and they would give an activity sheet to keep kids busy and it was just great. The chicken souvlaki is also delicious every time I go. The fries are always crunchy. And the pita bread is my favorite here! Everything is always on point and it's definitely worth it's price. You must try this place if you haven't done so already!
Great family spot! I always feel so welcome whenever I eat at Spartan. The food is very fresh and tasty. I love the tomato salad and Greek fries. The baklava is also very good. It's nice to see the whole family working and ensuring their guests are enjoying themselves.
Absolutely delicious greek food. You feel like you're eating in an authentic family restaurant. Gyros, greek salad, spinach pie FRIESSSSS delish. You can tell people that go there are locals and first responders.
Totally try it! You won't regret it
The only thing that creeps me out is all the dust on the caps hanging on the wall but hey I keep coming back lol
Surprised this place is in business. Went with a group of friends and all of our food was luke warm and the service was horrible.
I would suggest to spend your money elsewhere.
So. Much. Garlic.
But that's a good thing. I had never been there, and my friends suggested we get the gyro platter and a tomato salad. Is that enough? I wondered.
YES. YES YES YES. Portions are huge, prices are reasonable. We had the gyro platter, a tomato salad and a small garden salad, pita, and spinach pies. I am waddling right now.
I was craving a good Greek authentic gyro deluxe, I'm so happy I found this place my brother in law called last minute an invited us to lunch, I'm so glad we where able to make it last minute because this place is awesome gem.
From our wonderful server Penny who introduced me to so many new things besides me just eating a gyro.
Their Greek salad was so delish I couldn't finish, the espresso was great I also had a traditional beef lamb gyro let me tell you this thing is huge it's one of the best gyros I've ever had seriously no joke. My husband had the chicken gyro he enjoyed it as well. The chicken is like chicken kabob meat but very good.
There Greek frys where very tasty I enjoyed the feta on top.
I seriously recommend this place it's very authentic, looks like it's a family business very friendly. Everyone was very nice an greeted us with welcoming arms.
I can't wait to come back an pig out 😀
Thx guys an thx to my beautiful server Penny
I've eaten here quite a few times as my husband used to work in the neighborhood. We always have such a great experience. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, you feel like you're eating over a good friends house. The food is great- you can't go wrong with the Greek fries and the tomato salad, it never disappoints. Their coffee is really good also.
