Nice place to hang out with some friends if you have nothing else to do at night. The people at the front desk are always friendly which is a plus! It's not too crowded even though there are only two ping ping tables, one table is always taken. Never shot billiards here but there's a bunch of them and the tables are very clean and look new.
Plus there's a nifty little arcade on the bar table with Photo Hunt. My friends and I finally beat the high score today.
Time flies when you're scratching on the 8 ball! So much so that I highly recommending pre-paying for one of Spin City's specials before breaking a fresh rack.
If you pre-pay for two hours, you get a third hour for free! Or, if you plan on tossing back a few brews, definitely pre-pay for an hour of pool + a bucket of beer for a free hour of pool. Either way, you're on your way to running tables and choking on the game-winning shot.
I've only played pool here. It's $12/hour per person (bit pricier than other options in Astoria) and you get an extra 3rd hour if you prepay for 2 hours, but honestly, I've never gotten this deal because I can't concentrate on pool for that long that I can make it past 1.5 hours. Nevertheless, very spacious so you actually have space to make shots all around the table and you don't have to wait long for a table even on a weekend night. The tables and pool sticks are in good condition. It's near a couple of fantastic restaurants that I stop by pretty often (Sik Gaek, Tito Rad's), so I'll be coming here frequently enough.

Is that just me? I really need more practice.
