  1. Not bad for a $2 slice, though it's not much better than the $1 slice on 32nd St. It's one of these places across from Penn Station that acts like a net for the mad tourist traffic, so reviews are almost irrelevant.

  2. I was attracted to this place on the way to Penn Station by the $2 pizza sign outside the front door.  Hey, it's NYC, so everyone knows how to make pizza, right?

Surprisingly, that was right.  This pizza would've definitely been above average in Virginia (where I'm from).  You just don't get that thin crispy crust in Virginia.  Also, since the price was right, the pizza hadn't been sitting around too long.

But for NY, I'd give it 3 stars because the pizza was a little greasier and salty than I like.

Also the customer service was pretty good – the guy was very friendly and accommodating about letting me use a credit card to charge $4.

  3. Just got off the bus from DC and was starving. Their pizza though not amazing is still cheap and decent so if you're boltbussing it from the Capital to NYC this isn't a bad first bite! The sauce was noticabely sweet for what it's worth. I'm down with the sweetness but if that's not your bag u should try one of the gyros. Some of the other folks were eating them and they looked bombbb

  4. Perhaps the worst pizza in all of Manhattan. I gave this place a shot while waiting for a train, but would have had more satisfaction eating a piss-soaked rag off of the street.

  5. Good pizza for before you hop on the Chinatown bus to DC. I ordered the chicken parm variety and it was tasty. Not the best, but respectable. Lots of sauce the way I like it…

  6. Not good NY pizza. It's not super expensive but not cheap either (it is in a touristy place though). Pizza was put in the oven but didn't come out very warm. No free refills sign on the soda fountain machines…how cheap. Extra seating upstairs with a few tables downstairs in the back. Pizza was oily, not crispy and bad overall. I think even the chain Sbarro nearby is better and that's pretty ehh already.

  7. Decent pizza. Nothing spectacular, but  a decent  slice before getting on the train back to Jersey. There are only a few tables downstairs, but plenty of seating upstairs. The gyros looked amazing, but I didn't try one. maybe next time.

  8. Meh. I was walking on 7th by Penn station and some dude says "Free Pizza" and Snapple. Great, methinks this is going to be a good day when I get a free lunch.

The pizza was yucky, loved my free diet peach snapple.

I will never return to this place again.

    Thanks Snapple!!!
