  1. This place is busy and having only one entrance and exist, it gets crowded pretty easily.

The staff was friendly, but efficiency was lacking. Someone did take my drink order before I made it to the cashier, but it did't quite make transition to the espresso station. While I waited for my drink not to be made, I did enjoy people watching even though I was smashed up against the window bar seats. I'm not sure how these could ever be occupied because of everyone waiting for their drinks to be made and then having to squeeze passed other customers to sneak out of the store. Anyhow, once I realized the three people after me already received their drinks, I asked one of baristas about my drink, he apologized and started making it at that moment (it was a grande iced americano so it didn't take long).  I will say that I liked the fact that they put two of each type of milk creamers at the condiment bar and for as crazy it was, it was well stocked and very clean.

I can't imagine waiting for the warmed food that you see at other locations and I would probably advise against it. Get a pre-made snack from the refrigerated cooler, get you drink, and get out and don't come here if you are claustrophobic 😉

  2. I've been to the Starbucks on Pearl a few times, but they must have just renovated because the space situation in there has become significantly better.  There is more seating and openness in this Starbucks than there was before, which is what I think the main issue there was since it's usually pretty busy.  Might be worth going back there if that was the issue anyone is taking with this Starbucks.  Although they also don't have a public restroom for patrons, it's for staff only… which is pretty unusual…

  3. No public restroom, even for customers?! It's right there, I can see it, and they barista told me it's staff only.

My cousin got a coffee, which was never announced and just put on the bar with another. Both were unlabeled, so she played coffee Russian roulette. I won't be back. There's another Starbucks right around the corner.

  4. Wall Street Starbucks…got half off frappucinos during happy hour. Pretty small, popular cafe (long line when I went).

  5. I know reviewing yet another Starbucks.  Not my preferred Starbucks in FIDI.  Service is generally bad.  So if you get mediocre service you are happy.  Yep it's that kind of bad.  Only go here when around Hanover Square and they are the only coffee open.

  6. The worst Starbucks in the FiDi area. They are extremely inefficient in the morning. Very slow considering how long the lines are at any Stabucks in the morning. For example my friend gets the drip coffee and she had to wait 15 minutes to get her coffee after she ordered it.

Furthermore, I came here one afternoon for a ice cold drink last summer — the line was very long again. The main problem was I specifically asked for more berries for my cold drink — they gave me only 3-4 berries. This wasn't the barista's fault. I inquired if they could've added a few more — the store manager told the barista that 3-4 berries were the limit per company policy. Are you kidding me? I've been to numerous Starbucks around FiDi and midtown. Never once had anyone refuse to add a few more berries. Bear in mind, I ordered the same drink for years. Shame on you store manager for misleading customers (for whatever reason).

  7. It's hard to go a city block or two in the FiDi without finding a Starbucks. While this isn't a "full service" Starbucks, it gets the job done. It's a scaled down joint, focusing on the essentials. What I like BEST about this Starbucks is it's proximity to the Holiday Inn on Nassau St. What I like least would be the hours of operation. It is truly scaled to the hours of the district. Still, it's a good place to grab a Venti Black eye & some baked goods if you want an upgrade to your caffeine experience.

  8. Nothing saves the day on an sleep-deprived trip to NYC like a double espresso. This reliable solution to life's problems did the trick, again!
